PC vs PS4 Which is Better? hmm

These comparisons make me smile. I've just got so much choice gaming on a PC that I would never consider any type of console.

For example, I was playing Mario Galaxy 2 on the Dolphin emulator yesterday evening so I've access to the vast majority of the Nintendo universe barring the WiiU. The entire universe of previous generation titles are up for grabs except for PS 3 and Xbox 360 of which I'm only interested in a handful of first party exclusive titles anyway. Multi plat superiority across the board and the ability to mod some games into truly epic experiences. I'm currently playing Fallout New Vegas and in its modded state it's the most feature rich, graphically gorgeous RPG. That game, btw, was already a great RPG with choices and consequences in its vanilla state. As a game modded to the nines it's on a whole level compared to anything any console has to offer.

Now, I dont give a crap about indie trash. I like high budget, professionally developed games and the PC has loads of those types of exclusives in its own right, not to mention entire genres inaccesible to consoles. Also, going forward there will be very few titles that dont make their way to PC. I dont see a game like Destiny (published by Activision) being unavailable for too long and that's the single AAA mullti plat game that isn't currently slated for release on PC.

So for convenience and a handful of first party titles I'd go for the PS 4; everything else barring a steep price barrier to entrance that levels out considerably over time in comparison, the PC.

Whichever system gives you the most enjoyment?

Both have their pros and cons, and I enjoy both platforms, but overall I prefer console gaming over PC. So PS4 is the winner for me.

Comparing a 30 year old platform to one that is like 5 or 6 months old? One platform that has the potential to have 5+ thousand dollars of hardware compared to a static system for 400 bucks?

PC every time, just for the amount of game and the price of games, but consoles are still a lot of fun. Why not have both, pretty stupid to argue over this.
