Really man, the first time I playing Journey I just realized that I played this game only because I want to see the art direction and art visual, not because of the story, not because of the gameplay, just because the art direction.
When it comes to Art, I like Blizzard and CD Projekt, the most. Every Blizzard game has unique art, that's why despite not being benchmark, their games still look good after so many years. Recently played Warcraft 3 and it still looks colorful. I was impressed to think that it is 12 years old RTS game. Starcraft also looks good because of its art. Overwatch also has really good and unique art style.
Now that I think about it, this is actually Blizzard's very first FPS game!
They better add a FOV slider for the PC version. If my weapon is going to take half the screen (like 3rd & 4th screenshots), then this game will be dead to me on launch.
Meh. It looks kinda generic. Games like Ori, child of light, beat it easily

Well this is similar with dis, ninja, team fortress 2 and uncharted 3 but art and graphics looks so much better in overwatch.
I agree that Journey looks amazing. Posting HD picture would be nice.

Is it wrong that I'm not really excited for this? It just looks like Fable and TF2 had a baby and then Dishonored is now it's Godfather. I don't see the appeal.

No Blizzard game looked shitty when released. Their games aren't benchmark, yes but look pretty good and have great art. Funny how "shitty" looking Diablo 3 needed a patch to run in HD resolution on X1, while PS3 and Xbox 360 version couldn't run the game at its best.

I do like the look of Overwatch though (and of course journey)! Games like these captivate me from the get-go because of the artwork; call me shallow if you want, but spunkgargleweewee doesn't make my mind go "oooh fun!", pretty colours do.

Overwatchers is a rip off of Team Fortress 2 genre with its own spin-offs as much as heroes of the Storm is a rip off of others MOBAs with its own spin offs and HearthStone to other Card games way before it. Its because of Blizzards popularity and die hard fans that everything seems Soooo goood.. Sadly there are alooot of die hard fans that will praise everything Blizzard does. Literally everything as long as its blizzard !
The bitter truth though is they making 1-2billions per year the last 7-8 years and all they coming with are FREE 2 PLAY caliber games. And they still managing to wow people about ...what exactly ? Art ? Come on bro :) Thats pathetic from BLizzards part ... As much as Diablo 3 vanilla was for PC..

That desert map looks nearly identical to the Egypt tileset from TF2.
Overwatch is a POS money grab from Blizz trying to salvage the competitive MP components of Titan. They have even stated as much and they plan to micro-trans milk it until it is dead.

There is NO reason to think OverWatch will be, the guy seems to be making that claim out of nowhere. Also, if he would bother to watch gameplay videos he'd see this game is nothing like TF2 and pretty unique take on competitive FPS. Real Competitive FPS is a rare breed, I'll take any new one, much less a fresh take from Blizzard.

I agree there is zero reason to believe that overwatch is a cashgrab.
I am looking forward to playing this game and its one of most anticipated this year.
