The Conduit takes players into a dark story in Washington D.C. after a vicious alien invasion has rocked the country. So, over the last few months, it seems feelings have changed, so I felt it was time to put up a thread and get the final and definitive hype. So System Wars, what's your hype? And I know it's cool to hate on Wii, but let's be honest and not hype AAA just to see a flop, k?

You put AAAA and graphics king in your poll. I can put money on what will happen next. Anyway my guess is it will get slammed by many journalists and loved by others. Gamespot will be in the middle and give it a 6.5 or 7.

AA elsewhere, A on GS. A decent at best looking game with good FPS controls, is what I expect. It'll be ripped apart here, but that's what happens. Most lems and cows will laugh, but hey, they can't point and shoot, or don't want to lift their arms to do so.

I feel like I am on the outside of this Conduit joke. I cannot believe people are actually hyping this awful looking game to actually be good. I do fear however some of the Wii only owners are very excited for this, which makes a great case as to why Wii cannot be anyones only system.

First of all polls like this are absolutely worthless because all the Ninty and Ninty fan haters will chose the AAAA option just to try to make them look bad.

I am hyping it as an A game simply because of the developer comments recently that said the game needed much more work.

You're right, they don't. But every dev starts out making licensed shovleware crap to pay the bills and gain development experience. Once they build up enough cash, they start to do stuff THEY want to do. That's exactly what's going on here.

ID Software jumped right into Keen, and then to Wolfenstein and then to Doom and then to Quake. Of course they ahve talent so its easier for them.

I think it will be an A @ around 7.0

It was almost 20 years ago. Things have changed. Back then four guys with 2 000 $ could make a good game like Commander Keen. Now you need big teams and millions to make games.
