Supposed to be a 3080, but I can't find one. Just had to settle with this, sell it and find a 3080.
@Grey_Eyed_Elf: Perks of being in a 3rd world country I guess lol. Wish there was a 3080 tho, but a 3070 is fine too.

How do you all keep your headphone foamies from getting caked in dust? I keep mine in the packaging and it still happens.
Some of my old consoles that mostly collect dust. hehe :)
I would imagine very little dust behind that glass pane.
@BassMan: If these companies were fully committed to BC, we would need to be storing all these old consoles.
Yup. I have the original PS3 which plays PS2 games. So, I have that one hooked up. I sold my PS4 Pro because the PS5 made it redundant. I was going to sell my Xbox One because I play all the MS games on PC now, but I still have it hooked up for the BC with a lot of the 360 games and I use it as a Blu-Ray/DVD player. I can play pretty much all the Nintendo stuff on PC through emulators. It would be nice not to have any consoles and play everything on PC.
@ezekiel43: I don't really have too much dust buildup on my headphones. I wipe them every once in a while though. As for the old consoles.... they actually get a lot of dust behind those glass doors because they are not sealed.

The technology is there for a lot of consoles on PC. That is all we are allowed to discuss.

I would share the video for this but don't want to break the rules, the other setup in front room, well that's a story for another day :P
@BassMan: it was my build, and it got sponsored by brands but not cdproject red, been a fan of the cyberpunk dystopian theme for 20 years now, so only natural i would do a rig themed on the game.
@BassMan: Yeah, it did suck, but now I have that fully new PC to play with. Gonna give it a go tomorrow, but I did try a few mins of Cyberpunk with RT... Gonna have to get the settings right, but excited for even a little RT.
Only thing I might add is a second NVME as I do use this as my living room system, and basically stream and download everything.
@lundy86_4: Congrats on the new build! I really thought I would have a 3080 by now, but I’ve kinda moved on at this point. Thankfully Cyberpunk is a disaster, so I don’t feel as bad.

Thanks. The only thing i'm grateful for with Cyberpunk is that I can do 1440 with DLSS and RT, which is really kinda sad. I spun up Horizon today as I was holding off, and it runs beautifully at 4K.
@lundy86_4: Looks pretty slick 👌, nice case! I have an NZXT as well and am thinking of sticking with them for my next build.
@lundy86_4: Holy crap I also have an S340! But I'm going in the opposite direction lol, I'm thinking about going mini-itx with a H210. I don't need the extra space and I've been meaning to go for a smaller overall package for some time.

That's a nice case. Basically a much smaller version of the 710. I rocked a mini-ITX for a while, and is was definitely convenient.
@lundy86_4: I like the full matte finish, I would have preferred a version of the case without a window. I'm just not that much into "showing off" my cable management.
@lundy86_4: Thanks, I'm taking it slow and biding my time until the time is right to purchase the parts...
... is what I've been telling myself for the past two years. 😅
Finally, upgrade from Ryzen 7: 2700X to Ryzen 7: 5800X and also got me a new CPU cooler Arctic Freezer 50.
Not fancy on the cables mind you, but my PC gets the job done!
@davillain- I’ve never seen that cooler before. It reminds me of those threadripper coolers. I’m really diggin it!
That CPU performance upgrade must be pretty nice.
@lebanese_boy: @goldenelementxl: Thanks. I made more adjustments as I went back to using air coolers cause they have gotten really better throughout the years and I don't trust loops anymore. I overclock my 5800X already, really huge difference on the CPU upgrade.
Edit: All that's left is upgrading my GPU to the rumor RTX 3070Ti at a later date whenever it releases.
My boys have been getting into gaming a bit (6 and 3). My oldest is a beast at Fortnite and Rocket League, while my youngest is oddly good at Mario games and other platformers. They‘re only allowed to game on weekends, but both are much better than I was at that age. It’s fun to watch
We turned the unused 5th bedroom into a playroom for the kids. This is the little gaming area. (The rest is a mess of toys ranging from legos, toys for my 1 year old daughter, hot wheels tracks, dinosaurs and wrestling figures)
Xbox Series S
3 Nintendo Switches (4th will be for the 3 year olds 4th birthday)
3DS XL
3DS OG
DS Lite
Samsung 50“ 4K TV

WOW
@recluse589: I really like the way the front of the case looks. Is that a Corsair case? What are your specs?
M1 MacBook Air 8c CPU/GPU 8GB RAM, 512GB NVME in silver.
Will be selling off PC and parts and going to get PS5 and XSX... I noticed a year ago I stopped playing games on PC that required a keyboard and mouse. So I will use a Mac for my work and I'll use consoles to game.
Who knows maybe in 4-5 years I will change my mind but as of right now I am happy with this choice.
M1 MacBook Air is absolutely ridiculous in terms of performance and makes no noise with little heat even when using Lightroom.
This is the closest thing to the perfect laptop I have ever come across.
