Oddworld remake getting great reviews | GS: 8, MC: 86

I like the idea of the game. Apparently it's quite a nuanced story with actual depth in it.

im loving it so far.. Oddworld was my favorite series back in the PS1 days and i gotta say this is a great game and this is how remakes should be done

I played a little of the original, so I may pick this up.

I own all the Oddworld games and this is a remake of a game I enjoyed, add in the Cross-Buy (Buy PS4, get it on PS3 and Vita) and I'm sold. Because it's DD game though, I will wait for some sort of deal. Personal policy and all that.

Why no PC? I love the abe games.

I was going to get it for the Wii U, until I saw they wanted $30 for it; **** that. I got it for like $3 on GOG years back I'll just make do with that. Maybe I'll get it if I ever see it cheaper in the future.

Such amazing memories of this game on pc in the 90s. I will pick this up no doubt.

That's Odd....

I never played the original, so I'll probably check it out at some point. I get the feeling it'll be a PS+ game at some point though.

From what I remember on PS1, its a pretty good title, but also fairly difficult.

It's a great remake. The controls aren't as precise as the original though as walking and running are all bound to how sensitive you push the stick instead of having dedicated buttons for it, which is a huge mistake. Makes you over or undershoot jumps all the time. Other than that it's very true to the original and looks damn pretty at times

I like the idea of this remake, think i'll wait for sale to pick it up.

I have a personal beef with Lorne Lanning due to his business practices and refuse to support this game at the price he is asking for it. $14.99 or less and I might bite, but for $29.99 he can take Abe and shove it up his pretentious ass.

Can you imagine not liking Oddworld?

After a nine year gap it's good to see them back.
