So who will win the all mighty NPD sales this month? Did E3 help mix things up?

Will PS4 continue to march forward and conquer or did backwards compatibility and sweet controllers guarantee X1 a win?

I request this to be the official NPD thread when the numbers arrive. I like the clean look of the OP. I'm also sure the TC will report the numbers correctly, and will not try to spin it in any other way.

I'm gonna say if Sony won last month then put them in for the win again.

E3 was great for Microsoft but I doubt people flocked to Best Buy right after.

Xbox One already won due to it leading in most retailer sites currently.

Amazon (hasn't updated monthly yet but Xbox One has been ahead of TLOU PS4 for days and days and the Batman Bundle only started climbing up, not enough to pass either ACU bundle or TLOU bundle.)

• Toys R us.
• Gamestop (until yesterday, still pretty high.)
• Bestbuy (until this past monday, mostly due to limited bundle for batman, still high)
• Walmart
• Target.

For some of these 1 TV sku is the highest SKu or up very high, along with Halo MCC bundle, and in one case ACU bundle. Then you have the pre-orders of Forza 6 bundle and Forza 6 indivisual that could move hardware as well, plus Gears Ultimate and Rare replay. Batman alone will not be able to save the PS4 this month,

Lostrib, you should make this a monthly thing to keep it sane.

The Batman PS4 bundle has been available for pre-order for months now, and all those pre-orders will count for the month of June. That itself that will put PS4 on top, probably by almost 100k units.

Also, I can't help myself: Good riddance to TigerSuperman. He will not be missed.

The number one Batman console pre-order were the Silver limited edition bundles that always sold out because they were limited edition.

Unless you think the made 50k or over that many limited bundles, the batman pre-orders aren't going to add that much to the tally.

Only a few places had the regular batman bundle pre-order and that was overshadowed. Regular batman pre-order got its most attention this month.

Because if a game is coming out in about a month, than than people will buy consoles for that game. I don't see whats hard to believe about that. TLG is a long way away, and is also aniche game, Rare and Gears are top selling companies, which have games coming out in about a month, so why would people not buy a system for those games, if they are interested in them?

Because they were announced this month. The E3 hype carries over. Dave sees Rare replay is announced buys an Xbox One and pre-orders. The game is coming out in a month, so there's no long wait time and it's already out the way.

First off all, just wanted to say thank you lostrib for taking over this NPD thread and keeping it real.

Now then, if you want my answer who will win, it's Xbox One because BC was the main attraction for MS.

I din't event think you're trying now, you do realize that announcements make people buy HW and pre-rdr games right? The games coming out in august have nothing to do with that. Also August is very close nearby, making it make even more sense for people excited about the 2 games to pre-order and but the consoles NOW, then in August. Hype lostrib, hype. and those games are coming out soon, not 2018, so the hype build up won't wear off easily.

@Ant_17: Well even Sony admitted that BC was a smart move on MS part so it has a chance to win and more the reasons for those 360 owners to upgrade now.

Do we know how the "insert 360 disc , download game" works?

Can i take my copy of Blue Dragon to a friend with a Xbone-download it on his console and then go home and download it on mine/And i know Blue Dragon is not BC yet/

MS announced BC for xbox one at E3 and lems have informed us that this is HUGE.

This will surely secure a victory for xbox one in the month june and due to xbox fan confirmation, I don't think PS4 will be able to recover.

Would it really? 360 fans already bought the One. I can see that they are excited about it....but it isn't really something that's going to bring in new console owners that didn't have the 360.
