I don't see how this is a good thing.

Understandably, Metroid Prime has been a single player game. But what makes FPS's so fun and replayable is the multiplayer experience. And this game would have been a good showcase for Nintendo's online presence instead of its absence.

And why is it a good thing when a potential feature is cut? Oh maybe multiplayer wouldn't have been as good? How would you know if they never tried?

this game is not built for multiplayer its a FPA, so online multiplayer probably would have sucked anyway.

Metroid Prime is a first-person adventure. And the multiplayer in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes was awful, so we really don't want online.

For some odd reason Nintendo doesnt want to get into the online market, i wonder why? Hmm... Maybe cause it will cost them money. U guys get mad at MS and Sony for being giant corporations that are in it for the money while Nintendo is the nice company that makes game for the love of it. No, Nintendo sees that it will cost them way to much money so they drop it like it is deadly. They sold us a smaller gamecube for $250, so i think i might not be too far off the mark.PEELEDbanana

I will say this though... If there's one company that doesn't need to flourish in the online market, it's Nintendo. If they, along with if not all, then most of the 3rd party devs, are able to successfully make terrific games, the innovation will be more than enough to satisfy people.

The Wii is selling like crazy without online, so that has to say something, doesn't it?
