I didn't see any threads on this but its a pretty good read from Forbes on Microsoft and Windows 8

To be honest, I wouldn't really care if they went t*ts up.
The Xbox is pretty sh*t nowadays, save for a few games and XBLA. Windows phone is good, but it's way too late to the party. And Windows 8 looks appealing to me, but only if I had a Win8 tablet.
They need to rebrand themselves from the ground up and just modernize.People still associate "evil corporations" with MS and they're not necessarily wrong.
Maybe this is the kick in the boll*cks they so desperately require.
MS is in kinda in a tricky situation for next. they rely too heavily on their "big" franchises. and the other ones, people don't care much about. I think they'll need to come up with a new "big" franchise if they want to sell systems next gen. but i'm not completely sure that they can. they'll be in a very bad position if not. Especially if they're still the only one that charges to get online.
[QUOTE="BlbecekBobecek"]You just play with them instead? ;)We dont kick corpses.
