No Crysis 3 for WiiU

Not like Nintendo fans care about this news or anything but thought i would share :P

Yet another multiplatform game not coming out for the WiiU, last month Bioshock Infinit devs confirmed that there will be no Bioshock Infinit on WiiU and now Crytek CEO confirms there will be no Crysis 3 on the WiiU.

looks like there is an issue between EA and Nintendo which is keeping the game from releasing on the WiiU

Oh nooo..The Wii U isn't getting an overrated futuristic FPS that plays better on my mid range PC...whatever will Nintendo fans do...?

This gen could be really ugly for Nintendo. Without the Wii like sales, 3rd party support will be even worse than with the Wii and on top of that, no Miyamoto:o

I thought Crysis 2 "sucked." So why shoul we care about the third one?

Also there's that Lego GTA game, it will probably be semi-high profile considering how well Lego games sell on Nintendo platforms and the fact that Nintendo is publishing/promoting it.

Personally, Wii U takes home 2013 H1, not just exclusive wise but also overall (3 day 1's and 2 maybes). Not interested in GTA / Lara Croft and such.

Two third party games (Ubisoft and SEGA/Platinum), one first party game. Both third party games have Nintendo involved.

WiiU slow memory, mediocre undeclocked GPU and terrible CPU dont allow such games

Maybe Trine 3 that is a 2.5D game could run

(I personally find Rayman Origins / Legends meh, it's a maybe at a discounted price, but I know people love to praise them as superior to DKCR/NSMB, however Legends suddenly don't matter)

Remember Reggie saying "our online will be a different approach, taking the best of publishers (EA) and Nintendo" -- this never happend.

I'm willing to bet the multiplats we've seen were long in development before the console was announced.

And the games that are coming (Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite) were never even in the pipe or thought about being in the pipe.

I feel like people forget all the backroom handshakes and development that happens in this industry.

Speaking of fanbase im seriously curious to know how Black Ops 2 have done on the WiiU, last time someone posted a picture of which showed 150 players worldwide playing black ops 2 on WiiU :P

Why would anyone want to play Crysis on Consoles?

The Wii U is not a true next gen system, it's current gen at best. It will never be able to handle the multiplats next gen, I don't know why people find this surprising.

Userbase size has nothing to do with it. The Wii has no problem in that area, yet a game such as Crysis would've bombed on it regardless.

If it's on a console I like, It's the right system. If it's not, then it's a waste. :roll:nintendoboy16
