[QUOTE="DrTrafalgarLaw"]Which idiot company release E3 demos online right after E3?Nintendo still not grasping the idea of putting a playable demo online. :/

Whats the difference of letting a few people play them at kiosks in a shopping center... or putting it online so everyone can try it?
These are demos that Nintendo is lettting the public play.... so why not get the message to a wider base of people using this new thing called TEH INTERWEBS?
Pretty smart idea from Nintendo with those Best Buy demos. I'd imagine if SSB4 was playable as well many stores would turn into madhouses. princeofshapeirimplement a king of the hill system. watch as best buys have to kick customers out so they can close 3 hours later than normal.

As someone above said, these demos are sometimes not even in their alpha or beta. That's unstable enough to cause troubles in normal machines. Also, releasing them right now online with some of them so far from their release date would be bad for marketing perspective. Demos boost awareness and sales, and if you release them a long time before the release date, then it's not going to be all that effective. All playing Mario Kart did was piss me off. Knowing the game is almost done, knowing Nintendo is holding it back so it will have a title releasing next spring, and knowing I was playing a demo of a game I would not see a full retail version of for at least 9 months was a god damn joke.
Instead we get the Pathetic 101, An HD Windwaker that did not look much different to anyone at the booth, a 2D DKC (Which is fine but why not hold that back instead since a 2D Luigi was just released?), and finally, that horrible 3D Mario game which was obvious to everyone there (And the Nintendo rep freely admitted) were just assets from thre last 3DS title.
The one game that would of sold the Wii U this Christmas was the one Nintendo held back so it would have something in Q2 so there would not be a game drought. Brilliant Nintendo. Brilliant.
From that poll they had, most gamers never saw the Nintendo Experience. blackace
because they only had that Nintendo Experience at Major Cities during a Work Week.
Not everyone lives in a Major City or waste gas to go to a Specific Best Buy just to play a game that will come out in a few months.
