Night Game: A wii ware game with some flare 56k

So I usually never hype games (unless they're called Muramasa the Demon Blade) but I saw this and thought it looked intersting so I thought I'd post it.

Night Game

So the game is basically a 2D puzzle platformer where you manuveur your metallic ball around puzzling environments. It features a very calm and mellow soundtrack and a very distinct visual **** Your ball will move around the various physics based stages and will make use of 3 distinct power up to complete each world. Looked different and it interested me so I thought I'd post it. Here's a video of it in action:

oh thats right, its made by the developers of cave story. Got alil muddled up there. Looks pretty cool from the vid.

Glad to see 2D games making a comeback. Nice art style as well, very Pataponish.

Not quite, but the music and background is surely fantastic. Definitly peaceful and the artsty1e is great.

I find that a lot of the better wii ware games are rather peaceful slower moving experiences. I'd assume that if you're more into actiony games wii ware probably won't suit your tastes. This is just something I've observed personally.

Looks ver like World of Goo...locopatho

The game is oftened compared to it which is a good thing. One thing people should know is that Night Game was in development before World of Goo was even conceived by 2D boy.

Well its suspose to be about 3-6 hours for a regular normal difficulty play through. There is also a hard mode where all the obstacles and such are changed to make it much more challenging.

I dunno, but Braid wasn't the longest game ever and still I consider one of my top five this gen.

This games looks really awesome. Indeed, it reminds me of Braid, but it as a lot of its own feeling.

Eh, I'll save my points for when Majora's Mask comes out on VC, the video for this on the Nintendo Channel didn't look too interesting:-/
