Looks like we will have another good PC and Xbox One exclusive.
I wonder what game this is. New ip?

Hopefully not some over hyped train wreck. M$ always builds hype when it comes to PC but nothing happens.
I dislike how a few tiny PR tweets and these gaming journos start writing up entire speculatory articles. Sure, it's easy to fantasize and write, but ultimately a waste of all of the forumites time. I clicked the link and came away greatly disappointed.
We shouldn't encourage this kind of behavior by making dedicated threads.
As far as the "something interesting", no one said it was a game (it could be a game, but it could be something else):
"Secondly, Spencer mentioned that the Windows 10 event coming on January 21st will include something interesting for both PC and Xbox gamers."
That is not a resounding endorsement. It's probably their new foray into VR headsets or perhaps an official announcement of GeoW4 (unlikely for a Windows 10 event), although the latter is best saved for E3. Of course, the tweets regarding the indie studio Capybara Games (Critter Crunch, SuperBrothers, Super Time Force, etc) implies another look at Capybara's upcoming timed exclusive indie game, "Below" which is slated right now to release first on PC and Xbone, followed by other platforms after that (PS, maybe Nintendo; see Capy's Super Time Force Ultra).
Based on some tiny tweets, this is most likely about Capybara's Timed exclusive Below to be shown off at the Win10 event.
Much ado about nothing.

EDIT: This thread we are in was first and it has more posts (44 posts vs. 24 posts). Proof.
@makemefamous07: I'm just dreaming here dude. Let me dream ok? :( SF5 and KI, both with cross play for both consoles would be cool.
Killer Instinct PC-XB1 cross play.
please?
How? MS canned GFWL and I highly doubt they will use Steam.
Funny thing is that MS Flight Sim just came to Steam. Hey, it's more likely than FH2.
i'd prefer fh2 aswell
Or maybe MS is finally doing a good Age of Emp. Myth. game specially for PC.................... hahahahaha

X-plane? Or are you talking about FSX? Because FSX is not a fully fledged flight sim of days gone.
Phil Spencer has attempted to market this as pc. But I guarantee whatever the announcement is: it will primarily benefit and be for the benefit of xbox. Because like all those dickheads with their fake pracriced hand gesture posturing: he is a slug.
@clyde46: Yeah, that one. Don't know much about the genre, but it is a MS GFWL title that came to Steam, no?
http://store.steampowered.com/app/314160/
Honestly, if MS did bring KI to PC, i don't see them trying to use GFWL or anything like that. Nowadays, Steam is too big and wes, MS wants to make has much money has possible, but i can't see them trying to use such a small title (well, small compared to the likes to Halo) to force GFWL on people.
If they're planning on bring all xbox exclusives, maybe even the odler ones from the OG and 360, i can see them making a new digital storefront, like EA.
But to use KI only for it? I couldn't see it happen.
Filler Instinct on PC and Windows 10 on Xbone.
And I'm not even sure about the former. It'll be another dud Xbone announcement.

Pretty sure FSX didn't use GFWL in the first place, its only called "Steam Edition" because the only place you could get it before was via retail on disc. You could buy games that used GFWL from Steam but it used MS's servers for multuplayer and DLC etc. Look at GTA4 on the PC, that was using GFWL and that could be bought through Steam. GFWL was a means for MS to connect PC users to Xbox 360 gamers back in the day however it fell flat on its face with ShadowFall because 360 players were getting whopped, then MS tried to run them both separately but it really just didn't happen, Steam is just too big.
I honestly don't see how they would connect Steam to XBL, MS is very selfcentred when it comes to its network. Sony opened PSN to Steam with the release of Portal 2 for PS3 but I don't think MS would do the same.

You only wish it'll be like PSE, they showed games there.
Oh yeah, can also add "We have games coming! Please understand!" before Based Phil glides off stage.
Windows 10 on Xbone.
Also "We have games coming! Please understand!" before Based Phil glides off stage.
Toned down version, with full Universal app support and DX12, which will make it much easier to port between PC and Xbox One, and thus more time available for the developers to improve PS4 version for the CPU. Biggest thing is of course the universal app thingy, all new apps created for W10 van run on Xbox One, game changer.

Even more pizza apps? Microsoft Excel? Game changer. Xbox won.

Don't worry, PS4 is still cool, even without any decent features

My life is so much emptier without a Vine app on my games console.

Who wants apps on their X1? I dont.
@GrenadeLauncher:
This is the reason why PS4 is lacking in apps. Because idiots like you are so narrow minded and just wants only games on the PS4
@Heil68:
Dude. No one cares about just you. There are many people who like apps on their console
Who the fck buy a $400 system for some dmn appz?
Well it's more of a thing you in your spare time really. I use X1 aps like HBO Go and Netflix

I won't be surprised if MS introduces Windows 10 exclusive games. It's basically going to force people into the MS ecosystem. I bet it's going to upset PS4 owners though. I expect EA to follow this
If it's a new flight sim in the same vein as FSX, I'll grovel on the floor and kiss their feet. I doubt it though.
Also, if it's an XB1 app, I better be able to uninstall it. I rarely do console-related stuff on my PC. I prefer to keep such stuff on consoles.

Dont be mad! I didn't even bring up current gen 8 console leader SONY and the world's most powerful video game system in the history of video games, the PS4.

Well said bro. I bet its just some connectivity for the new OS and the X1.
