New PC exclusive made by Ex Wipeout Devs!

I was one of many who were sad when $ony closed liverpool. Wipeout was a great unique franchise. I didn't think anything would fill the void it left. Now we have this. Thank you Sony. Thank you for freeing these devs from wasting their talents on consoles. Their time can better be put to use on PC as indie developers anyway.

I love wipeout and I love playing Wipeout on Vita from time to time.

Sony could have easily kept the studio open with the money they got from people buying TLOU twice.

Yeah it makes me sad. Wipeout was one of my favorite arcade racers.

Looks nice. Needs to show corners, abilities and detailed ship models and stuff rather than just straight lines.

Music is okay. It sounds like something off the Liquicity youtube music channel I often frequent to, glad they didnt settle with Dubstep or something. It shouldnt be hard/expensive licensing quality independent EDM these days to bring that Wipeout sound to this game.

So their dream after being freed by Sony was to make more Wipeout.

That does not look very good. It's missing something that Wipeout had yet I can't put my finger on it.

Most of the Wipeout devs still work for sony, they were just merged with another studio.

And this is multiplat. Another hermit selfown, just like the Last Guardian thread.

Sense of speed.

Kinda clunky looking. The sense of speed really isn't there, hopefully this is just early footage and it's going to be better later.

A game such as this in which you go at an incredibly high velocity would probably be quite exciting on ocaloculmous rift.

Feels too claustrophobic too. Also lacks that slick feeling that Wipeout always had.

Can't beat Wipeout. Great series.

Sony ruined arguably one of the best studios of 16 and 32-bit eras ever. I will never forgive them that.

Wish they'd make a sequel of that Star Wars pod racing game on N64. Now that was one truly awesome game.

That 720p video is compressed as bollocks, need a better 1080p video to judge it better.
