Imo the English Voices sound much better to me anyways. I think FFX and FFXII did a decent job with the lip syncing and from this trailer I didn't find the japanese voices amazing or anything.
The trailer itself is great and the game is shaping up to be one of the best rps ever.
Looking VERY good! I'm just wondering if it will be better on Ps3 or 360? (Yes i know most on here are just gonna say Ps3 becuase cows seem to own this site, but I own Ps3 and 360 so choosing will not be easy lol)

I own both too and I'm still getting this for PS3. I've played all the other FF games on PlayStation and I like to keep my game series on the same console so it's an easy choice for me. Trailer looks amazing though. Can't wait for this game. I've never looked forward to a game more in my entire life.

I own both too and I'm still getting this for PS3. I've played all the other FF games on PlayStation and I like to keep my game series on the same console so it's an easy choice for me. Trailer looks amazing though. Can't wait for this game. I've never looked forward to a game more in my entire life.
Yeah If they are Identical I'm thinking about going 360 only becuase the 360 contoler feels better in my hand, but if the Ps3 version is better in ANY way I will be getting that one in a hot second lol.
Whats awesome though is that with Final Fantasy 14 I will not have to make that choice becuase it is not going to be on 360. Thats a Ps3 purchase game on Day one!!! I mean in line with all the other nerds 10 hours in advance!!

See for me that would also be an easy decision. I've played every Zelda game on a Nintendo platform so I would continue with the Wii. Even PS3 graphics wouldn't change that. It takes out a lot of the guess work too. Now for completely new games, that's when mutliplat decisions get tough for me, like Bayonetta. I still have no idea what system I'm getting it for :P
Judgin it from a trailer i don't understand at all, i dare to say that the story is your typical FF story, and the combat system looks really fun, i'm getting more and more interested in FFXIII.
I have to hand it to SE they make the most astounding CS's you will ever see. They pour alot of thought into the characters as well, I'm really looking forward to this game. I'm really hoping to see more information of Vs13 though it draws me in more.

I really don't like RPG's in general but that game looks great. Ill pick it up for sure, however, the graphics during fighting gameplay bother me to no end.
So...wheres the ps2 like downgrade cows have been claiming? im not seeing it...It looks to be match for match on the early trailers for this when it was still a ps3 exclusive.
The new trailer looks awesome but the graphics aren't what they were promised to be a few years ago, in my eyes it's slowly degraded in graphics everytime I saw a new piece of footage over the past couple of years.

OMFG what i just saw. how come people dont talk about this game? its always modern warfare, HALO, and stuff. the typical FPS. uncharted deserves the hype at least, even tough it wont sell as much as those games, wich is unfair. but its other people money and i dont care if they prefer to not play great games like this or U2. but really omg, where is the downgrade people kept talking about?? if thats how a downgrade looks like, i wanna see more downgrades in other games. did you saw that open area with the dinossaurs? :O never saw such a big and well done area in a game. and the way the hair moves, its so well done. altough if you notice thers some parts that the graphics arent so great, especially the NPC, you can actually see some blocky fingers in those soldiers. but who cares about the NPC, im not gonna waste my time looking at their hands. the artwork is amazing, games should try to focus more on artwork and design over realistic graphics. whats the point of great graphics in games like KZ2 and gears of war if its all black and ugly?

Agreed. I loved the story of Xenosaga. It would have been even better if they had managed to completely fill it out in all 6 episodes instead of cutting it to 3, but still amazing nonetheless.

I don't get why people like Japanese VO's more. Why listen to it if you can't understand it? I would much rather hear a bad English VA that I can understand than a good Japanese VA that I have no idea what they're saying. Plus the English VA's are actually really good so I don't know why you would want Japanese ones. The only reason I would want Japanese voices and English subs is just so I could play the game as soon as it comes out instead of waiting for the American release, which even if there was English subs in the Japanese version, I would still buy the American version when it came out.

Or just snowe. Whoever is doing his JP voice acting is overdoing it. Sometimes he sounds cool (like in the original PS3 demo that came with AC I really liked him), but when he's screaming Serah's name on the bridge or spouting off his ideals ... x_o;
