Im not sure either, i heard big rumour NFL2k was working on making something, i was excited with the rumours of Madden losing its lock on NFL also, but guess we get nothing so far.

Biggest disappointment IMO was the lack of many new games, which I guess technically includes JM16.

Maybe it's not exclusive after all? Or maybe they smartened up and decided to shelve it publicly until the EA license expires (rumors peg it after this year) and they can negotiate for actual NFL players, Teams, and Stadiums...

@Heil68: As long as MSoft was the publisher and it was exclusive to the console. It had to do with Microsoft being the official sponsor of the NFL.

I agree with Vine, I think EA bought those rights to essentially be the only game in town. I miss 2k football myself, I thought 2k 2004 for Xbox was awesome.
