It would have been an awesome idea! Since Windows 10 would allow the master race play our exclusive Xbox One games through our PC, I think they should also do the same thing, but in reverse.

I would love to stream all of my PC games on the Xbox One even if I had to down-grade the settings of my titles to stream them properly. It would also kill off the need of a Steam Machine or even the joke known as Steam OS.

Edit: It will also take away the need of "Definitive Editions" of last gen games too!

Any other PC owners that have an Xbox One would like that?

I would argue the same thing on what's the point on having an video game console in general :P

I have quite a hefty amount of games in my PC, but would like to play them in my family room without having to move my gaming PC.

Control mapping? Majority of PC games today already supports the Xbox One controller, that wouldn't be an issue unless you're talking about some games that are more KB/M friendly?

How much of a downgrade would it be though?

And pulishers would still be releasing definitive editions.

They already said they're trying to get it to work.

Obviously, it won't work with k/m games though.

Pretty much, if you have a decent PC why pay $400 or so for a machine that would run the games worse and also requires you to kind of be home to use.

The other way at lease forces people to buy an Xbox One, and unless you have a low-end PC, will run about the same as the XB.

Not really, some games may come the Xbox One and some PC games may not go to a console. I see this as a way to play certain PC only titles that have the Xbox gamepad support ideal. Also, it's good for me as I have my brothers that wish to play some of my PC games but prefer the console setup.

Except why would a hardcore PC gamer get any console to STREAM to that console if PC is better than ALL consoles even PC's at affordable rates? Which would run less again btw.

Xbox one to PC makes sense because you can get the same experience, and can probably get it to run slightly better as well through other means, from the Xbox one, and also you have to buy an Xbox one. This also applies to even more affordable PC's outside low-low-end.
