only on gamespot Reviews

they give Crackdown 7.8 because it had no storyline

they give Virtua Fighter 5 8.1 because it had no online

and they will give it 7.9 because they only one player

Am I the only one who plays multiplayer games with people in the same room with me? For at least one person (me), the lack of offline multiplayer is a big deal (in a racer - I don't care for multiplayer in single player focused games).

It would be just like Gamespot. Penalize VF5 because it only has split screen and no online multiplayer. Penalize Motorstorm because it only has online multiplayer and no split screen.

I played Motorstorm at Circut City today...cool graphics, though very capable on 360....clunky controls, RU kidding me with no rumble?? all in all it was kinda blah...I'll go with 7.9 good but even AA may be a stretch...

It's dependent on the reviewer, but I think the hype is AA. Some say AAA but general consensus is something like high AA, no?

ok im gonna say this know u really cant complain about these reviews. im talkin about crackdown, vf5, and possibly motorstorm. look i like crackdown. but i can see y it got 7.6 its easy, its way to simple, no storyline at all, most of the fun is in playing coop online, single player is corny. as for VF5 it really didnt bring anything new to the table as far as VF games are concerned, and other major fighting games do have online so yeah. as for motorstorm. it only has single sounds bad, but im sure it has online multiplayer but even then i dont think its AAA worthy. neither of these 3 deserved AAA. there fun they all deserve 8is range, maybe mid AA tops but come on not one of them was worthy of AAA

i could be wrong about motorstorm and this site might actually give it AAA. but the point of the rant is trust me this is not as bad as snake eater and twilight princess getting AA instead of AAA. those games got robbed

Get out of here, VF got 8.1 because it had no offline modes to back up a non-online game. What does it have? like 4 modes? Real bang for your buck there....oh you didnt mention that the sound got a 7 as well.

Sorry but if a game isnt going to have some online functionality...it better have one hell of an offline experience. VF is technical, that doesnt make it any more on the value side of things.

No online, very little in the way of offline modes, and brain dead AI. How are these stupid reasons to lower a game's score? Especially a game that costs $60.

no now the average hype is AA since VF 5 didnt deliver. so now more people expect motorstorm to get AA tops. but for the last month most cows went motorstorm VF 5 both gonna be AAA. watch. so for ur 0 for 1. it could be 0 for 2
