Yeah, i kinda see it as possible. Would be nice for them to go big in the 30th anniversary of Zelda.

I don't think we want to see too many GameCube/Wii games go to the 3DS, to be honest. DKC Returns and Xenoblade ended up being downgrades rather than upgrades.

Ew on 3DS? Ugh, give me a nice Wind Waker HD-like remake on Wii U. Give Twilight Princess the respect it deserves.

Just as I've been worrying, Nintendo is abandoning WiiU and New 3DS already to stack deck of NX launch. Probably why we're getting Wii remakes on 3DS so they don't have to have many creative resources taken away from their NX goals.

Anyhow, what's the point of New 3DS if it's just going to be Wii games and no original content? I have money for one now, hit up Best Buy and Toys R Us last night tempted to get one when I realized "hey, there's no fucking games for this thing".

I'm still calling an HD Remaster for the Wii U to push out another Anniversary Title.

The N64 Zeldas being remade on the 3DS made sense, as the 3DS has more power and thus the games could get a quite noticable graphical jump. Twilight Princess would make more sense for the Wii U though since the new 3DS really doesn't overpower the Wii. TP on the new 3DS wouldn't look much better, and potentially it could look slightly, slightly worse.

That being said, I wouldn't be terribly against TP being on the new 3DS though. It would be kind of nifty to be able to play that game on the go and I would imagine they would tweak the game and maybe add some stuff if OoT3d, WWHD, and MM3d are anything to go by, so even if the game doesn't improve graphically they could still make it a tempting revisit through gameplay.

Might as well, right? They remaking everything these days. I would enjoy a 3D TP though, so I'm all for it.

Update #2: It's fake. While TaDavidID, the guy who generated the image above, has gone on to add video and more images to support the validity of his claims, his friend ChrisX930's timeline reveals an image from three days ago proving that this is a hack. Not coincidentally, ChrisX930 also tweeted that he was planning on going to the Zelda Symphony concert in Germany today with none other than TaDavidID.

I don't know about you, but I feel like I've personally gotten to know ChrisX930 and TaDavidID through this whole experience. Thanks to NintenDaan for helping us uncover the truth behind this mystery, or as I like to call it, "The case of the Mii who lies about playing Twilight Princess 3D."

That said, I would prefer a Wii U remake of Twilight Princess if a remake was coming at all.

So are they just going to keep releasing old Zelda games now? I expect more originality from Nintendo. Is there even any demand for this to happen? The game can still be played on the Wii U.

I'd be all over that.

I think the Xenoblade Chronicles remake on the new 3DS makes a lot of sense since the game was released in limited quantity on the Wii, and it also really gives Nintendo a chance to show off the full power of the new 3DS.

It will probably get other ports, but I really hope Nintendo has two or three original games in development that will make good use of the new 3DS tech.
