And Soap from the first game is your commanding officer replacing Price.
Campaign is same length of first game, i don't mind actually

oh cmon infinity ward! can't you give us a campaign with some LENGTH?
CoD4 had a great singleplayer campaign, but it was over so fast...
Okay, firstly;
"Sergeant "Soap" MacTavish, has been promoted to captain in the Special Air Services (SAS), Britain's answer to the US Navy SEALs"
Wrong, the SAS preceded the SEALs by two decades.
Secondly; My God, this game is seriously just sounding like a half-hassed copy and paste job of CoD4. I think I'll be passing.

I think alot of reviews ruined the campaign for me. Like I kept hearing its a great story and awesome campaign. I played it and the story was just bad,but it was still fun shooting people at least.
SAS ....... again ........ I might pass on the campaign, unless they have the Navy Seals. Nonstop-Madness
Maybe a little Navy Seals and a little SBS. Nah that would be way too awesome :P
Cleaning up terrorism with Soap McTavish in a 5 hour campaign yet again will be fun...>.> I'll stick to Call of Duty 1.
Campaign is same length of first gamen00bproofAnd just like that I have no interest in this game. I hope to God it doesn't end up being as obscenely overrated as COD4 was.
I'm perfectly fine with another 5-7 hour SP campaign if it comes close to the levels of awesome in COD4.
The screenshot looks amazing, I just hope they have a physics system in it, Euphoria in SP would be amazing, and then use canned animations for the multi to stop lag.bobbetybobTrue just make it rag doll.
Forget Soap and the SaS. If they had a team of Navy Seals then there wouldn't be a MW2 because the job would have been done with in the begging.DPhunkTLOL you really dont know anything do you? The SAS are probably the best in the world

LOL No. But I suspect this is a country-pride issue.

Yah but we made Ginger Biscuits One111!!!Short Campaign doesn't mean not well thought out or a bad campaign. Nonstop-MadnessIn this case, it does, considering how terrible COD4's cut and paste campaign was.

Well comparing the SAS and the Navy Seals is where the problem lies. Try comparing the SBS and the Navy Seals :P
Thank god, I was afraid they were really going to go with what some people were wanting and throw in Spetsnatz missions. The last thing I want to do is play a role of someone in the **** Russian military.
I am fine with more SAS, to be honest anything Western World related I am fine with. Navy Seals are terribly overrated in Hollywood and video games. It would be nice for the Rangers, PJs, or Combat Control to get some love. Would also be pretty neat for the Mossad or GSG9 to have a part in a few games. Honestly there are all kinds of counter terriorst/intelligence agencies out there that are really interesting.
To be fair the campaign in CoD4 was good, refreshing after CoD2's poor campaign.
Still though, CoD1 and United Offensive reamin the highlights of the series, and signs indicate that this is a fairly generic sequal (and we already got that in CoD: WaW) so i'm not looking for a purchase.
Playing as the 75th Ranger Regiment in a "good" game would be awesome. Too bad it will never happen. I'll settle for the Seals or Delta Force though.Thank god, I was afraid they were really going to go with what some people were wanting and throw in Spetsnatz missions. Why? I like the idea.
If it was anything like the real life Spetsnatz, no it would be horrible. To be fair the campaign in CoD4 was good, refreshing after CoD2's poor campaign.
