It's pretty awesome considering how small the game was in the beginning. It's amazing to see how far the game has come. What do you think?

Microsoft should buy it rather than produce new games.

That's pretty amazing considering the dev had no idea, never messed with the game but I'll need to give it a go at some point.

I must be a weirdo for not understandimg why tens of millions play this game.

It's not even fun to watch.

For me the only record it broke is the most boring overrated brainwashing game ever created.

@uninspiredcup: They already bought it, I think they are going to be adding a story instead of making a new game. Minecraft isn't really the kind of game you make a sequel to, if they were to make a sequel it would be Project Spark.

Say what you will about minecraft... I've had hot and cold times with it too, but Game design perfection should be rewarded...

What a list of stupid records

I've tried to like the game but its not for me. I've found that building type game like it and LBP aren't my thing, although I do enjoy playing other peoples levels in LBP, I just dont have the will to create them.

Yup, but still, some of the other are impressive

The game has evolved past the point of being interesting for me. There is just so much to learn now, and with mods, it is just a massive time sink that distracts from everything else.

I'm not interested in Minecraft either. But, my kids love it. There are a lot of GOTY that I have no interest in. But, I'm not going to let my own preferences rain on their parade. Let those games have their kudos.

Yep ignore the 15 new Ips they had and the 7 announced, and the unannounced games which may make it another 15.

What games or genres would you like to build stuff in ?

LBP and Minecraft aren't games I would like to build stuff in either. But there are other genres I would love to build content for like mods or maps. I just don't have the time nor patience xD

I always have room for Minecraft.

I'm just not that creative when it comes to making levels in games and I dont find it that fun to do. Some people spend tons of time on them and if they have fun, more power to them.

I honestly never played Minecraft. I never played The Sims either. I see others play them and I have no interest in those games. I understand the casual appeal, but they don't do anything for me. I never owned a Wii console and I don't really play games on my phone either. I guess I am just too hardcore for casual stuff. hehe :)

I would say good for Minecraft.

It is the same thing as Skyrim only without shaders. Same ai, and same animation.
