MGS4 coming to other platforms

There's a new video interview up on Gamespot's website with Hideo Kojima. In it, he's asked whether MGS4 would come to other platforms. He states that it would be a challenge, but definitely doable.

Hideo Kojima: "Right now, what I'm thinking is how I can change this around for other platforms."

He is talking about the difficulty of putting MGS4 on any other console, but that somehow equates to "coming to other platforms".

I know you guys want to play it but wise up a bit!

Keep waiting, Keep waiting....You guys got Halo 3 and Gears which already are great 360 exclusives, why can't any other console have it's exclusives too? cifru

If anything, this was more an indication that it could end up on the PC in the distant future, rather than the Xbox 360....................

Cows need to realise, that if it makes financial sense to Konami, it WILL be multiplat.

Kojima is not affiliated with Sony. He doesnt owe cows anything. they seem to think he would rather die than develop for a non Sony platform, even though he already has/does.

i reckon it will come to the 360, for this reason-

one of konami's biggest franchises is the pro evolution soccer series, yet they cannot afford all the licenses of , players , teams , stadiums , leagues.

so its quite evident that if they want to make a bomb load of money( like all third party devs) then they will bring mgs4to the 360

He also stated that the some parts of the game can ONLY be done on the PS3. He would have to modify the in game engine and everything. It would be a downgrade not an upgrade.

Hmm well it came from the mouth of Kojima himself. If he says that it is doable and that he is looking at other platforms to implement it, then I don't see any reason not to believe him.

It's strange though, that he should announce this so close to the games release on the PS3 platform.

I think you misunderstand what he said.

He is not making MGS4 for the 360, he even said that some parts of the game simply were not possible on the 360 due to its hardware and space problems.

what he DID mean though was that in the future he may consider later MGS games coming to the 360. They WILL NOT feature snake, but it will still be in the MGS setting.

Though not even that is confirmed, there will be more MGS games but we dont know if it will remain exclusive. Watching the video it sounds like he has not decided yet.

But to awnser your post tc, there is NO MGS4 coming for the 360, stop spreading out false hope and actually listen to what he says!

you know he did say that at times that there was things that only the ps3 is capable of producing and he used up a 50Gig Blu-Ray disk...

I know, its a simple misunderstanding of what he says.

He might make FUTURE MGS games for the 360. Which is fine if sony does not pay them not too.

He has said this so many times MGS$ IS NOT COMING TO THE 360.
