IKR? I remember the beginning of gen 8 how Sony Fanboys bring up how the PS4 is destroying the Xbox One and Wii U in Japan and made a big deal of it. Now that the Switch is overtaking Japan, they no longer care and bring up global sales. LOL

It's pretty ridiculous for literal trash to be outselling a 10/10 masterpiece over there though. Not to mention a 4 year old port of Donkey Kong that Nintendo actually raised the price on.

Yes, Labo is the worst thing ever. But don't take it out on Japan. A lot of gamers there get caught in Nintendo's terrible schemes too.

Cows are by far the biggest hypocrites in gaming period. If you do not agree with them or if something does not go their way on a topic they just start squealing out butthurt, name calling, ownage, and babbling BS. If you support a system that is not Sony 100% then you are a flaming fanboy for just that system. They are extremely childish.

I'm kinda surprised Breath of the Wild is only about to break 1 million sales on Switch (a few weeks away) but Mario Odyseey is in the 1.7 million.

Sorry guys, the SW rules are clear. Sony must be in 1st for a thread to be valid. Not in 1st in Japan? Doesn't count because it's it's losing for an "handheld". Loses a month in UK? Doesn't count because UK is a small market. Loses in the US? Doesn't count because it's number one worldwide.

Seeing this chart makes it easier to understand why Nintendo thought Labo would be a success and why the had the nerve to charge $80 for cardboard. Japan is really weird and I say this as someone that used to live there and understands the culture.

I definitely agree with this.

I have zero ill will towards Nintendo because at the end of the day they make great games and are passionate about gaming, same with Sony. It's the douchebags at MS that I don't want to be at the top because they've shown over the years they don't give a crap about gaming or the gaming industry.

I know people hate ports on switch, but I really liked Tropical Freeze on Wii-U. This game deserves the success and recognition it's been getting. I really hope Retro is given the opportunity the finish their DKC trilogy on Switch, even if it's not what some fans want from them.

What I never understood was how it got reviewed again and got a larger score even though it's the same exact game. No doubt I enjoyed it on Wii u but it didn't make sense to give it higher because it's on switch.

A different person reviewed it, they obviously liked it more.

Japan is irrelevant. Only WorldWide Sales matter. PS4 80 Million>>>>> Xbone and switch sales combined. Fact!
