Here ya go.
Superior textures, inferior frame rates. So in screen-shots it looks better, in motion it looks worse, atleast in certain areas. It's got the DLC included. Hardly a sloppy port, but not perfect either.
and it had the new engine![QUOTE="blue_hazy_basic"][QUOTE="mitu123"]
Technical issues brought it down? They had a year to port this.:|
PAL360
The 'new engine' on PS3 looks exactly the same as the 'old engine' on 360! I wonder how will ME3 look on 360.
Exactly the same ? :P It's UE3 guys.So ign and now gamespot has scored the ps3 version lower than the 360/pc versions, lol this is going to be egg to the face for cows especially after all that "definitive version" talk. Im not surprised at allbigboss5akThe only reason IGN gave it lower on the PS3 is because of the switch to a 20 point grade scale from their 100 point grade scale. Mass Effect on 360 is a 9.6 which would have been rated a 9.5 on the new scale.
This score really confuses me. I was told repeatedly by cows that this was the definitive version yet it scores an 8.5. Better graphics, blu-ray, and all downloadable content included and still pc/360 outscore it. Better luck next time cows.
And no mention of "definitive version" in the text body.
"It's unfortunate that such a stellar game has made a not-quite-stellar transition to its new platform. The technical inconsistencies are most apparent in the Overlord sequence, in which you speed around in a land rover known as the hammerhead. The onboard computer invites you to drink in the beautiful scenery, but you are more likely to notice the frightful visual stutters as you zoom about."
And this is why I think EA has complete control over BioWare now. I doubt BioWare would themselves allow this to happen. Especially considering Dragon Age was superior on the PS3. How could it take a year to make an inferior port?
Garbage? Naw. It's a great, albeit with an incomplete experience, game on the PS3...and framerate issues. Cows'll have a fun time with it, but it's hardly the "definitive version" that we had stuffed down our throats the past couple of weeks.Lol.
Quite the flop we have on our hands. ME2 on PS3 is definately garbage!

They way to experience a game such as Mass Effect is on the 360, i don't know why they bothered. I can't believe all this waiting for a flop. And no mention of "definitive version" in the text body.

But the 'UE3 is not an excuse, especially after looking at this! :P
Oh my, give it some gasoline.Lol.

bioware didn't make the console versions of dragon age.And no mention of "definitive version" in the text body.

I'm sorry but even the PS3 version is AAA. Kevin V probably busy comparing to 360 version instead of giving the PS3 version a review on it's own merits.

BioWare themselves said it would be the definitive version. When the dev makes comments like that, I expect them to deliver. If there is anybody to blame, it's BioWare for overhyping and under delivering.
[QUOTE="lazerface216"]There's a reason it's called 9GN. No one's really taken them seriously for years now. You literally cannot trust that site. Although, then again, I bought Rainbow Six Vegas on PS3 based on it's 9.0 score on Gamespot... And that game had framerate issues out the ***. I'm astonished Gamespot actually has editors willing to play each version instead of copy-pasting the text from other versions.thank you gamespot for not falling for the hype like some other game sites i know...
