Killzone SF looks freaking amazing!

Finally opened my PS4 and started to play KZ, my god. Dem graphics. I've yet to see a PC game personally reach these graphics. I say personally because I've not played Crysis 3. I know the story isn't going to be that great but sweet jesus those graphics.

On PS4 battlefield looks like shit, in comparison. Killzone is up there with the best looking PC games in pure looks.

Disagree. It looks more consistent overall, but when BF4 shines, it really fucking shines. I was more impressed with that.

Not to mention most levels in Shadowfall don't look all that impressive. From an aesthetic standpoint.

this. at first i was kinda impressed with bf4 on ps4 until i tried it on pc. in 1080p, medium/high with x4 AA it looks waaaaaaaay cleaner than the supposed 'high/ultra' settings of ps4. Post processing aa and 900p destroys bf4's look on ps4

Maybe. To be fair I only played the first level of the BF4 single player, but even the KZ multiplayer looks better than it. BF has better character models scale and destructibility but KZ has way better textures and lighting

There's just certain effects in BF4 that really make stuff pop out. Like I said, it's not always the case. Shadowfall does look more consistent, and I'm definitely not denying it looks pretty damn good.

Maybe it's because I can easier relate to something like BF4. A more realistic artstyle.

Played it on Ps3. If that's the case, then sure.

I'm assuming BF4 looks loads better in single player. I've just played the MP on mine and no way is it near KZSF. Damn I need to play BF4's SP

Your're impressed now, but you'll take back that remark as you play the later levels of the campaign. Shadowfall is not the game you should be playing if you want to play a next gen experience. That game can seriously look ugly at times and the presentation only goes downhill starting from level 3 or 4.

@freedomfreak: I've got both and I compared them on my 60inch LCD TV and my 100inch HD projector and KZSF looks better. Don't get me wrong BF4 is stellar on PS4 but the 900p makes the image quality suffer a bit compared to KZSF's crisp 1080p. There are slight jaggies and it has this Vaseline effect on the screen in BF4 that KZF doesn't suffer from. KZSF for now is the best looking game on consoles in my opinion.

@freedomfreak: Thats not true, i will admit the high frame rate in BF4 makes it look cool but saying it looks better than KZ is pushing it. I was playing the multiplayer for KZ earlier today and it looks really sick what GG done with it, textures, materials, metal, reflections, shadows, light casting, colours.....like its really crazy looking and in some sections i had a 'life like moment' where it almost seem too real

Kind of funny when people say things like this. Of course a new console will have launch games that beat previous consoles launch games.

But, off the top of my head, launch games like Halo and COD 2 were more impressive for their time than Shadowfall is for 2013.

Yeah it looks pretty good. I'm expecting the graphics to get a lot better though. There are pc games that do look better that run at 1600p or 1440p. PC shouldn't be compared to consoles, new tech is constantly coming out for pc's. There are endless amounts of options for combinations for tailoring a pc to exactly what is wanted. A console is the same specs until the next generation.
