It totally looks like a different game, 60fps vs 30fps.
60fps should be standard. I don't care if you need to decrease textures or amount of AI on screen (consoles, step it up, seriously) but implement this. 1080p 60fps is the way to go.
PS4 really showing it's strength now, lots of interacting and movement going on in that environment, also, smooth as hell. looking very forward to the final version.

Ok, it's not fake, but this shot is clearly in the shadow of the stadium, i.e: everything is in shadow.
there should still be shadows even then,plus when he does the stupid arms in the air super move with light, it has none too.
No, if you are in full shadow of a solid object from a single light source (the sun), then you will not be casting any distinguishable shadows yourself. Therefore that's moot.

It is getting harder for me to justify switching to the Xbox One camp, even though i do like what MS are doing with the product, seeing all these visual fidelity deficiencies is making me have second thoughts, i should prob get the PS4 first and have a look at the Xbox One later

What other light sources? The only other light source is the occasional torch/flame brazier, which won't have the light travelling all that far in sunlight.

Alright, touche sir. I hadn't seen any parts like that. But yes, times like that, light should definitely be casting additional shadows, not just changing the colour between them,
