KillZone apparently does not support voice chat?!

Ok I just learned the shocking fact that in online multiplayer, you cannot voice chat with other people in Killzone. It's not a supported feature, lol. I'm sorry but as a 360 gamer I take this for granted. I simply cannot remember the last time I played an fps game that did not support voice chat.

I find this quite unbelievable actually, and I'm really not trying to bash this game.,...I actually mentioned before how it looks good, and would buy it if I had a PS4. However, I just find this omission unacceptable, hopefully you can form parties with your friends and chat through that?

I believe there is no default chat in game where anyone with a mic plugged in can talk. You form a party chat through the PS4.

Yes, Killzone Mercenary on the PS Vita does not have voice chat unless you're in a party :P

Chat will be patched along with the fun most games come with as well.

Killzone SF is a terrible rushed game. Good graphics. Thats it. Killzone 2 was amazing--a really cool, unique, atmospheric shooter. GG needs to get their act together and make a real Killzone game.

Ok well at least there is that.....I mean I met a lot of cool people online(randoms) and coordinating with voice chat is essential in games like Battlefield, and it's just something I take for granted in games today that's all....I was surprised they wouldn't have this in their flagship game.

Huh? You can't be serious... Are you? So every MP game doesn't support chat as a basic functionality of PSN??? That doesn't even make sense. That type of functionality is not something a developer should have to worry about. How do you play a team based MP game without the ability to talk?

I'm looking forward to hearing more insight into this. I can't imagine this is true. No offense meant to the TC at all.

I noticed that on saturday. Been playing since launch and didn't hear a single voice. Not a big deal to me though.

Killzone : Shadow Fall does not support voice chat, but you can still chat with your friends in a PS party.

I'm still gonna get a PS4 next year, but it is a BIG deal to me. I'm a very vocal (thats what she said), and enjoy playing multiplayer games with people who strategize and communicate. I've got to believe that Sony left a hook in their API so that this can be enabled network wide at a slightly later date.

No offense taken, I can tell you I learned this from the Playstation forum here in GS, another user made a thread about it there.... so I can't claim that it's true 100%, but people were replying to him as if it was.

This is atrocious and unacceptable but somehow emblematic of this rushed gen's launch, not only Sony's.

Wtf? That can't be right? A next gen game with no in game chat? Doesn't sound correct.

Meh I never really use chat.Only if I am gaming with friends. I think COD put me off from voice chat.
