Holy crap I never knew PSP was so good looking, its like mini HDTV. I got MGS and I am amazed how good it looks, for that little handheld. And the main thing wow REMOTE PLAY is awesome,its your PS3 on PSP.. friends list and all,xbots dont have nothing like the amazing PSP!!

I have one, the games just don't interest me. I wasn't trying to say the games suck. Because they clearly don't. I'm just not interested in the. I played Tekken for awhile. Never picked up MGS. So maybe that is good. I'm waiting for God of War.
I've yet to see what the PS3 and PSP connection features are like, but from the update lists I read and so on, they sound minor for me. I don't think I'll worry too much. I lent my PSP to my sister. She gets more use out of it than me.

The PSP is underrated, I have no idea why so many people like the DS better. Would you rather play games with graphics nearly as good as a PS2 (online or not), watch movies, surf the web, andlisten to music OR play weird little anime games with a stylus and two screens?

Why would you get a PSP a month before the redesigned PSP Slim is released? It is better in almost everyway. Did you not know about the redesigned one?
I played Tekken: Dark Ressurection for awhile. Then my UMD slot broke so I couldn't play games :(. I really wanted to play the MGS games and Silent Hill. I then started using it as an MP3/Video player.
Oh, and be careful of your analog stick! It can snap off easily!

Yea same (Well it didnt break, but the games didnt interest me) ... so its basically an over-priced I-pod to me :) ... oh wait ... they are overpriced anyway :S
The PSP is really cool. I just still can't justify it's price for a handheld, especially when alot of it's good games can be had on my PS2. If I were going to get a handheld at all, the DS is cheaper, and does something different.

This is probably coming from someone who has never touched a PSP. I used to own a DS, and I had Mario Kart. It is a damn fun game of the highest calibur, but... Wipeout PurE is on the same wavelength, and its a launch game. WipEout PulsE is coming out this fall, with online play, improved graphics, tons of tracks, (allows you to create) custom skins and much, much more...

I bought MK Ds, and really liked it, then bought Wipeout Pure dirt cheap and LOVED it! It took me back to the first wipeout game i'd ever played, and the downloadable content was wicked.
I cant wait until no.2. And MK Ds is very good, but yea thats a very biased comment saying its better than every psp game.... I mean Burnout Legends is as good as MK/DS and I have both.......

i bouth a psp for my lil bro early this month and sony announced a new version some days later..he's enjoying the demos.since im not into handhelds,i dont ven know how to get him good games on it.all the games he ask for are the ps2 andd xbox ports on it.

I have to agree. I have I was to buy a handheld I would get the PSP. If they get more games like MGS: PO and God of War : CO I may have to get one if I can afford it ofcourse

Yeah at least pikachu's a game character... Cause you now dragon ball z is so great, The story just flows flawlessly :? alsot pokemon is one of the biggest name in video games so i think you need to get off your high horse thinking your too cool for it and actually try it... And the psp sucks compared to ds.
Lots of lemmings love the PSP. Don't let everyone here fool you. It seems like avoiding the vile rants from DS fanboys is reason enough not to admit that fact.
I just don't like the PSP. You cows act like its such a big deal that someone just doesn't like your system. I know, I know, I am teh kiddy if I play the DS but whatever.
The PSP was the biggest waste of money this year for me, but luckily I sold mine for store credit now I can get bioshock without breaking the bank.
The thing is pathetic, 80% of the games are ports that handle like crazy and "portable" my arse I have to carry that thing in hand and playing it on a bus is a drag it takes so long to load up most games and the glare from the screen is just brilliant.
