Seems like Sony doesn't care anymore about it. Where are the killer new apps for it.

ISoftware built from the ground up for the device isn't selling great. I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped supporting it.Seems like Sony doesn't care anymore about it. Where are the killer new apps for it.

For those who actually bought one, what are your thoughts? If you had to do it again, would you?

My cousin recently bought one for his wife and kid to play about 3 weeks ago... I have yet to see them use/play it...

THought about getting one and did not. My buddy brought his over and we played some sports champions, which was actually quite fun, but not worth buying the controllers for IMO. I like motion in some games no doubt, but I dont think I have been convinced enough to support it. I have a Wii and the only games I feel greatly benefit from it so far are the Metroid Prime games.
Enjoying my move+navigation+sharpshooter controler every day on Killzone 3, i'm sure that Sony will continue the support.
MS gets alot of crap for supporting the Kinect. But I'm glad they are supporting it than not supporting it at all.

We'll see if you still feel the same way once E3 comes around. ;) This sums up what you're "exlusives" have pretty much turned into.
Enjoy!

They don't get crap for supporting Kinect, they get crap for not doing anything else.
TC, I'm sure Sony's peripheral is doing fine. It has good games that it can be used for, and everytime they post numbers for it they seem to be surprisingly high.
It's a peripheral, and not their main focus, so they shouldn't be going balls to the wall with Move, but rather ensuring it gets made good use of in relation to their many, many games.

It's a fun alternative to use instead of the controller. What I like about it, is the games on it that interest me give me the option to use either or. So I can use Move for 5 minutes, say "That was neat" and then go back to using the regular controller. :P
Could be worst as it could have sold alot more and all sony would make is move games. idill23
True indeed. Main reason why my 360 has rarely been turned on....
They're doing it at the expense of hardcore gamers. Sony could easily prouduce 5x as many Move games as MS could for Kinect considering the difference in 1st party but Sony aren't stupid enough to alienate their fanbase.MS gets alot of crap for supporting the Kinect. Its crap, but so is Kinect. I wish both flopped, but one is better then none flopping. almost no games, the games they do have suck. I would rather buy a Wii with its enormous catalog of games that are designed to be used with Wiimote. Move is just a quick cash in on Wii users to try and convince them to spend 300+ bucks on the PS3. (pretty stupid when you think about it)
it's about to get axed...socom 4 was probably the best they could do and the way it was packaged compared to the killzone 3 one...it's going downhil

they spent like 120-150$ on it so if its dyingalready id guessno lol
Socom 4 just came out with it, its actually getting support, how many games does kinect have again?TintedEyesNeeds more built form the ground up instead of tacked on games.

KZ3, LBP2, and Socom all support the Move. That's not enough?MS gets alot of crap for supporting the Kinect. But I'm glad they are supporting it than not supporting it at all.

Does anyone else see the stupendous irony of Cow claiming that "Sony aren't stupid enough to alienate their fanbase" after their first three years of the gen, which plummeted them from top selling console of all time largest mindshare undisputed kings of the industry to a distant third place desperately scrabbling to catch up to their new-to-the-industry rival that they trounced several times over last gen?MS gets alot of crap for supporting the Kinect. I woulnd't consider it floppage just yet. Socom4 and lil big planet are huge successes with the MOVE. as far as I know. We will have to see what other games they will bring out at E3, if they do.
I do not care for motion controls but after my PS3 60gb from japan bricked I bought a 320gb PS3 that came with MOVE pack for about $350, great deal... Not really used move at all.. I'd love to see MGS4 remade with trophy support, 3D support and Move support :) (and DTS support)For those who actually bought one, what are your thoughts? If you had to do it again, would you?

In fact it's best if it's just optional for the player. Sorry if a like my games designed around my control input... But that's when you get gimmick crap like the shovel ware on the Wii.
if skyrim would work with move , bow , sword etc. , i didnt need any other game to support move , i prefer normal controls but some games could be better with move like elder scrolls imo

Of course not. The cutoff for a game being able to be great without HD graphics was... Wait, when did Sony say this gen started, again?
