Poll Is Homeworld the best cinematic game made ever? (9 votes)
My friends: A decade and a bit on: it appears rather than evolving: games have become increasingly restrictive.
Interactivity - is a unique aspect that makes video games what they are, movies, tv and books devoid of it. Instead of harnessing this aspect: taking inspiring from movies: games are aspiring: to be movies.
Would we (the older users) all agree that the Relic developed video game title "Homeworld" as- well as it's sequels still stands as a magnificent example of harnessing cinematic experience and unifying it with game-play? Spars use of cinematic. Sweeping 360 camera's. Epic galactic backdrops. Other things that make it really really good and stuff.
I can't think of any modern games that best it in that specific regard.
