As a console gamer I'm just used to 30fps as long as it's stable I'm playing in 30. At the start of the gen I hoped for more solid 60 games but hasn't happened.

Nah, I’m a retro gamer, don’t think about that stuff when I put a game on.
Although 50Hz on old consoles in PAL regions is a huge pain in the ass. It means all our old consoles run games slower than intended.
30fps isn’t ideal, but it’s still playable for me.
Some times it’s worth playing the poorer version of games out of fascination. For example HL2 and Doom 3 were especially built for original Xbox. Or Alien Isolation for the Xbox 360. No doubt they run at 30fps, but it’s still interesting to see the games running on older hardware.
Frame rate and graphics play no part in my decision on buying a game. I would rather have a fun game with a great story.
As largely a PC gamer with a decent machine and RTX 3080, there is no 30fps 'dealbreaker' for me. Then again, I also play old consoles and emulators. Some of these older games are 30 fps and I'll play them still. It's not ideal but you can get used to 30, as long as it's a decent stable 30.
I've recently been playing Cyberpunk with Path Tracing on. But to get there I needed to change the resolution to 1440P, balanced DLSS and I locked the fps to 40 for a consistent frame rate. I hate the idea of being 70 fps one minute and then 50-40 fps the next.
For me, I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker per say. It depends on the system that I'm playing on. I'm mainly a PC gamer these days and I owned a 4090. I prefer to play my games at 90 fps or above.
I remember the N64 and PS1 era where a lot of games where around 25fps. Let alone 30 fps lmfao. If you was to play most split screen multiplayer games on the N64. You'd be playing at an even lower fps.
Then again, what people need to remember that playing at low fps on a CRT, as least for me, felt smoother than it should.
Any game that has 3D movement that relies on reflexes to some extent and is stuck at 30 fps is a no for me, dogg. Then again, this is why I only game on PC--then I don't have to deal with it at all.
