inXile Entertainment, the developer of Wasteland 2, filed trademarks recently for two abandoned RPG projects.

The first trademarked game, Meantime, was in development in the late 80s by Interplay, the company behind the early Fallout games. It would have been a time travel RPG and spiritual sequel to the original Wasteland, but it was eventually scrapped for financial reasons.

The second trademark is for Van Buren, Black Isle Studio's proposed Fallout 3 game, in production until the developers were laid off in 2003.
