If Dragon age does not win game of the year... it should definitely win the best sound track of the year! The soundtrack is amazing!

hmm, if it does win GOTY, does it count as a PC GOTY or a multiplat GOTY? (of course if it does win, it would be that version).

Well I wasn't actually trying to debate which game gets GOTY, but I wanted to highlight how damn good the soundtrack from Dragon Age is. I don't want to turn this into another which game should be GOTY thread to be honest. There are hundreds of them out there.

But don't forget, UC2's soundtrack also is a force to be reckoned with, and MW2 has Hans Zimmer behind it. ;)

If they do become available, I would buy all 3 of these soundtracks just for the sake of having them in my library.

I got the soundtrack on my Bonus disc :D

It will definitely be game of the year for me. The lore, story, gameplay everything is just fantastic.

I would definitely get the collector's edition for dragon age for all the artbooks, soundtracks, and making-of documentaries. Couldn't find it yet, hope more of them are available in december.

I'm not sure, but I heard the soundtrack is availabe on steam too.

The last two games from Ubisoft were piles of $hit for me. Assassin's Creed 1 and Far Cry 2 were horrid repatitive bore fests that makes you lose interest two hours in because you get the feeling you have seen everything the game has to offer. I don't have much hope into what AC 2 will be.

I don't know about Assassin's Creed 2 sound track though. I doubt it will be better.

Yes very good soundtrack, but it is Inon Zur after all who did Prince of Persia, Fallout 3 and Crysis which all have amazing soundtracks as well.

I'm still debating if its my GOTY, sure its amazing, but Batman was just...godly! But iall wait till i finish DA before i pass final judgement.

I doubt it will win game of the year but it better win best RPG and soundtrack of the year.

it would be a hard thing to accomplish since all platforms have different scores....xbox 360 being a 8.5.......there is an unbalance in scores that keeps the game from becoming goty......

Chill. I'm not forcing anything on anybody nor am I suggesting it. I'm expressing my opinion that DA:O is the best soundtrack I heard this year, that is all.

I hope it does win GOTY.. or at least take home a good bit of rewards.

That's a good score indeed. But listening to it I prefer Dragon Age's score because I appreciate the vocals a lot. They give such an epic feeling. Although the Halo track has some vocals towards the end, I can't help but feel that I heard it somewhere else. It just does not feel as original.

BUT I really loved the upbeat after 6:54... that was awesome. Nice score.

It should win GOTY it's the best game I've played this year easily. If it don't win the award here I'll cry into my pillow.

Game soundtracks are kinda terrible imo ...

DA should win GOTY though. It's the best RPG i've played since KOTOR

I think Dragon Age is a GOTY contender for many reasons...but soundtrack isn't one of them. It seemed really generic to me.

No memorable scores at all.

Quick question relating to DA. Besides the pictures posted here, i know absoloutely nothing of this game, not one little detail (or what i knew, ive forgotten). I want to keep it that way till i get it myself.

All i want to know is, is this game similar to Jade Empire?
