I think PS3 owners are having a great time being in last place!

I'm personally having a ton of fun playing a last place console.

I'd rather play great games instead of relying on all my great games from two years ago like lemmings do.

I don't play sales and "places" at home on my couch. I play games.

The simple FACT is this. When lemmings brag about all their AAA games the truth is almost all these games came out more than a year or two ago (PD 0, Halo 3, Gears of War 1, GRAW etc). The only one of those games lemmings still play is Halo 3 so I'm not even sure why they bring up games like PD0 and the original Gears anymore.

On the other hand, the PS3s huge AAA games have all come out in the last year with R2, MGS4, LBP and Killzone 2. There is no denying that the PS3 has had more highly rated NEW games than the 360 in the last year and if you look at CONFIRMED releases for this year, the PS3 also has more than the 360.

So please lemmings, keep living in the past. I am in the middle of Star Ocean 4 and I still love my 360 but I'm getting sick and tired of hearing lemmings always bringing up the past where their games are concerned. If they focused on the present they'd realize the PS3 is the console putting out the better games. That may change later this year but currently it cannot be argued in any way, shape or form.

I want to be VERY clear. I am a PS360 owner and have the picture to prove it. However, I get very frustrated seeing lemmings continue to gloat on these forums about sales and PAST successful games while the PS3 surges ahead with CURRENT great games. How about living in the present for a change and giving the PS3 it's current due?

im enjoying my last place console. i'll enjoy it even more tonight when i go home and slaughter some zombies.

It is ridiculous to fault the 360's great games that came out a little while ago. Look at all the FPS fans who still play Counter-Strike or the MMO fans that will always come back to WOW. Look at all the people who still consider Ocarina of Time the best game ever, or who are clamoring for a FF7 remake.

The 360's recent exclusives aren't that far behind either. Games like Fable 2 and Banjo are still quite good even if they didn't reach AAA status. One of my favorite games this gen is MotorStorm:PR and it's barely AA according to this site.

Also, PlayStation fans have been gloating for nearly a decade about sales. They were boasting about sales at the start of this gen more than anybody else. So it's silly to target everyone else for something PS3 created for themselves.

Rely on great games from 2 years ago? WTF are you talking about? The 360 has a steady stream of quality games... many of them exclusives. You may not like them, but that doesn't mean that others enjoy them. Killzone 2 is really fun, and I assume it's the 'SURGE' you refer to. But if PS3 sales are any indication, I think it's safe to say the SURGE IS NOT WORKING.

And why wouldn't PS3 owners be having fun? Sales don't effect gamers (in the short term at least.)

Aren't you perpetuating what you are claiming is false? You are saying that PS3 owners are having a great time playing their games. I am. I like a number of my PS3 games.

But then you are saying that the PS3 has a better lineup than the 360.......

But why are you focused on just AAA games, from gamespot rankings? In reality, gamespot's rankings can be hit or miss and have been so on a number of games for both the 360 and PS3?

And why only AAA in any case? What real difference is there between an 8.5 and a 9.0 game, regardless of whose rating you use? So why are you ignoring the great many AA games the 360 has received in the past few years?

And while you haven't said it, you have implied exclusive games only. But why don't multiplatform games count? And in particular why can't 360 owners be enjoying PC/360 multiplat games not available on the PS3? L4Das a recentexample. Fact is in reality, many 360 owners are enjoying those games.

So haven't you done exactly what you accuse lemmings of doing...being highly selective/subjective in your choice criteria?

If you want to say that in the real world, many PS3 owners are enjoying many great games, then you should be acknowledging that the same is true of lemmings.

Which means the only true real world comparison that matters istotal game lineup vstotal game lineup. And perhaps it should be limited to B or B+ games and up.
