I have yet to play a "next-gen" action/adventure game

Nothing has come out -- it's kind of depressing really. I don't have a PS3 so R&C and Unchartted are out of the question, and there's nothing else there. So I'm eagerly waiting Assassin's Creed, Devil May Cry 4, and Ninja Gaiden 2. But damn there is none out there right now.

It's like you are either a racer or a shooter this gen.

but this gen is missing a few great genres, like RPGs. i have only enjoyed one rpg this gen and that is oblivion.

I believe those are current gen games, but what do I know, they only came out on the current gen consoles during the current gen. I haven't played kameo but dead rising is a great game. It has a single pitfall in that survivors have some of the worst ai I've seen in a game.

i know the hype round Deads rising. i even bought it. but i don't like it.. well, maybe for an hour or so.. And kameo.. hate that game. especially the art direction. just my opinion.

I don't really see it as action/adventure. There is not a doubt in my mind that it is a great game, but as far I know it is you and bunch of zombies in a mall.

It's more of a free-roam kind of game and it does have some action/adventure stuff in it. Honestly, the only real action/adventure title that comes to mind would be Uncharted. I dunno. I guess you're going to have to wait for Assassins Creed

Assassin's Creed will be "next gen."

Devil May Cry 4 and Ninja Gaiden 2 will just be pretty "previous gen" games on current systems.

Nah. Kameo is a good game to begin with. It got solid scores all around. I gotta go back and play it again sometime soon. :) Anyways, Assassin's Creed comes out before Uncharted.

bioshock isnt really an adventure. You explore in a way but.... its not really.

Yeah assassians creed will be a good one, ratchet and clank is one, uncharted will be.

i know you dont have a ps3 but uncharted seemsis going to bea good game and ratchet and clank tod is awesome - is a action adventure game too because the game have a lot of thing thats why the identity crysis dilemma lol

I concur, TP is, imo, the best adventure title released this gen. I know most of you will say that it's last gen but realisticly it was released this Gen and on a Current Gen console as well as the GC so I consider it a Next Gen title. And as always, the Zelda level design is top notch.

Hm, reading maybe? And they have these things called videos too. I respect them as good games, but they DO NOT appeal to me. It's like showing me a very well made barbie game -- cool but not for me, sorry.

I judge games off what I'm interested in, now what GS gives AA or AAA to.
