I have a sealed copy of Assassins Creed Syndicate - open or return?

I chose it as my free game from the buy 2 get 1 sale because I couldn't find anything else I didn't already have or played. Are the reviews legit or is it another dud like every AC after Brotherhood?

Eh, it would depend. How have you felt about previous games in the series?

Consoles haven't reached PC status yet in terms of digital distribution.

I get better deals on physical games and have the option to return them or sell them and they install much quicker from disc.

Sell it for $60 then go back to target and do the buy 2 get 1 free again :)

Although I haven't played this very Assassin's Creed, if the previous titles are a good indication it is that Assassin's Creed games have consistently had a very good player progression system and it has only gotten even better in recent years. The only thing is the framerates have become lower and lower each year.

Open it. Not only are the reviews pretty good but word of mouth is as well. Never base your buying decisions on SW angst.

I would return it, Ubi games usually drop in price really fast. Pick it up in a month or two when it's $20.

Seems like a pretty solid AC game. If you like those, open it. Personally I can't be more tired of the series, I'd return it. Or give it to a friend with bad taste.

You got it for a reason and it is better than Unity. Keep and play it.

It's pretty good. It seems there are two teams working on the series so one year it's good and the next year sucks. Part 3 sucked but Black Flag was pretty good. Unity sucked but Syndicate is pretty good.
