How do you like your Steam Deck?

I'm excited to get mine later this year. How is it for you?

Have it pre ordered for Q2, but i am not getting it. Frame rate and visuals are simply too shitty for me to burn over $700cad for something like that.

I was tempted to buy one but I play enough games on my ps5, I don’t think adding a handheld would be good for my time management lol.

Mine is still reserved for "sometime after Q2"... so it may be a little while.

Update: Just checked again and it says available in Q3, so I'm waiting until then.

I pre-ordered my Steam Deck last November and placed a $5 deposit, but because I need to save money after paying off my huge credit card debt and wondered whether I should really buy it, I decided to cancel my order. I may reconsider when I have more money in my bank account and when I do not have be in a waitlist to buy a Steam Deck.

My goodness! I just looked at some eBay listings. Entry model over $1K. 256gb model going for like $1500. 512gb for $2000+… Bonkers

Having a hard time believing that people are buying them and not just troll sellers by buying but not paying.

That's why I kept my preorder, I really don't think I'm going to keep it, but resale money will be nice.

Hmm i might as well grab it too, then sell the 256gb model. Just checked my pre order through steam, and its now Q3 2022 wtf. But that's when the 4000 series from Nvidia are supposed to come out, no? If so, that would be a good way to get a "free" 4070.

Mine also slipped back to Q3. It's also when the Oculus QuesrPro is expected to drop, so a free VR set would be a nice Christmas present to myself.

I pre-ordered the 512mb version a second after it went live. 30 minutes later I get an email saying that my order was canceled. Re-ordered it after reading the email and now I'm in Q3 smh.

Got a status change I just noticed. It used to say (Q2) now it says (April-June)

Which is basically just Q2 right? 😂

At least that's what I would say if I had one.

Says I reserved mine on Reserved on Fri, July 16, 2021 but not available until Q3. I feel like I did when I kickstarted the Pimax 8k and was within the first 1000 backers but was one of the last people to actually receive it.
