Halo Wars - The best 6.5 game EVER!

Seeing as how Gamespot is the law around here, and that their reviews and scores matter more than anyone or anything else, is there a game out there better than Halo Wars when comes down to a 6.5 score? I don't think so! Even with 65 reviews averaging a score of 82 at metacritic this game is still considered bad here in System Wars. Even though I'm having more fun with this game than most AAA titles this gen. Heck, I'm even having more fun with this game than one of those AAAA titles we lucky gamers have gotten this gen. ;)

But on a serious note, I'd like to thank Gamespot for making Halo Wars the best 6.5 game ever. Thumbs up to you Gamespot! Maybe someday those PS3 or Wii gamers might get as lucky as us 360 gamers and get a game worthy of the title "best 6.5 game ever!".

I have it and I rather enjoying playing it.

i haven't tried halo wars yet though

I'm not going to pick it up, but it's at a respectable 82% on gamerankings and metacritic, so kudos... just not my type of game

Here's the problem with the review for this website:

• The guy who reviewed it didn't know how to play the game.
• He says he can't just click a button so you can go to one of your squads. But there's the D-pad, and if you hit down it will go to a squad, and if you hit it again, it will go to another one. Same with your bases, which is left on the D-pad.
• The game is five hour long...when other reviewers said it's LONGER.
• He only played in Normal Difficulty, he admitted that too.
• And he didn't even play the ONLINE!

There's having your opinion, but there's being flat out wrong about a game.

• It was also the UK review, and this the the US website...Gamespot, you failed.

Real score should've been 8-8.5.

I don't know Legend of Dragoon was pretty amazing at 6.4. This gen hands down thoughCouth_

Im sure halo wars is really good.

But if I were going to get an RTS for the 360 I would either go for C&C3 (which I did, and its brilliant for a console RTS), or red aleart 3, both of which will include more depth, plus online I head halo wars only has 1V1 online play, C&C3 had 3 if Im correct...

Halo wars is good, but its not the best console RTS out there...

Gamespot gave the game, the 360 version, an 8.7. So if halo wars is as good as you say, C&C3 is incredible...

I am loving it too but with thanks to the mythic map ;)

dude you bought the game and you want to feel good ,that you didnt give your hard earned money for a trash game.even though its a halo game its bad,dont justify your buy by telling its better that the score they gave it.sure some people like lair too,some people like barbie playhouse,it got 6.5 here deal with it,its bad here ,its a flop here end of story

i actually like halo wars alot more, C&C3 was very frustrating for me

Halo Wars simplicity is what makes it work imo
