M$ said the same thing for the original Halo, Halo 2, GeoW, Fable, Fable III and other games, but it's true not every Halo has come to PC so it's a 50/50ish. I would lean on they won't do it, but one can't really tell the future by what PR says. Dead Rising 3 recently made the jump as did Alan Wake, both games dubbed exclusive at one time. We really can't trust PR on this issue. There is a scenario where a PC port could play into the finances depending on the Xbone install base, something the 360 didn't have to worry about in the later years. What they say now is PR based on moving Xbones, not actual future plans to consumers. Their priority is getting this game out on Xbone and when sales drop off, maybe we'll see a PC port, maybe we won't. It's a shame Halo ODST and Halo Reach aren't in this package as I've spoken to new Xbone owners that never owned a 360 and probably won't get to play those games unless they buy a 360.
I already own all these games and played them to death so I'm not buying this collection this year, but it's a good deal for those interested. I'm not really into remakes of games I own at full price, but I'll pick it up on the cheap end in the future. MCCollection, The Last of Us remastered, Resident Evil HD, and Zelda Wind Waker HD are games that I'll nab at that sweet $20 price-point. I'm more interested in exclusive new generation experiences like Batman, Halo 5 (assuming 343 does better than Halo 4), and Uncharted 4.
