It just breaks my heart to see one of the best franchise from my youth go too sh&*t. I just don't understand how Halo franchise went from America's favorite to America's meh.
Although I feel that the Halo series isn’t what it used to be from past instalments but I liked Halo Infinite and it’s the best Halo 343i has made. A big leap forward over Halo 5. Just my opinion.
@daredevils2k: Stop clowning, 7 for tv shows is awesome. And Last of Us tv show deserves 9.1, its Woke Gospel. Has the best man on man love story ever told to mankind. Should be 9.9.
I was one of the people hyped for Halo, especially after BF2042 failed. It was great for two weeks and then it died. Then came the death threats from lems mad about many things. Not enough devs, seasons are insanely long, bad shop items, shop items too expensive, many missing features. Halo Infinite was BF2042 except it launched with a season and shop items whereas BF2042 delayed their season and shop to fix many issues before asking for more money. Wild how BF2042 is a significantly better game now than Halo Infinite will ever be.
For anyone like me who casually enjoyed Halo multiplayer in the 360 days... Halo Infinite is worth re-installing now if you (like myself and many others) played it for the first weeks/months and then uninstalled. Has a couple playlists worth your time and getting better and better.
The campaign of Infinite is literally pathetic. Every time i hear someone say "but i liked it" or "it was good", feels to me like they're trolling. Its god awful campaign is 90% as bad as Halo 5's, and that game had the bottom of the barrel kind of singleplayer experience. Nobody will ever remember anything good that came from Halo 4, 5 or Infinite. This series has been a disaster ever since 343i took charge.
You look at the writing from 343i, and at this point, chatgpt would do a better, much better job in under 5 minutes😆😆😆

I must be in the minority when i say i liked Halo 5...visually it was impressive for an xbox one game and the campaign wasn't that bad. Also, have you played infinite? the campaign/story is pretty good...while it does feel somewhat empty compared to the bungie versions it still hold up, IMO....i suggest you go back to infinite and play through it again if you haven't.

I’ve played a few hours of Returnal and DOOM Eternal not winning this poll by a landslide makes me question its credibility.
Yup. Returnals a good time, no doubt. But Eternal is lonely up at the top. Not even sure if id can outdo themselves on that one, Eternal on nightmare is really something else. Between these two specifically, pretty much everything Returnal is good at, Eternal does it much better.
Alyx seems way low from what I understand of the game, but haven't played it. Probably the same story for most lol.

It launched with a huge bang, and would have continued had it been supported properly…it wasn’t, which meant its gaming lifespan was about as long as your average Sony 1st party one and done game. Difference is Halo is finally getting some nice updates which means players will try them out again, whilst Cows are waiting for ….what, yet another Spider-Man?

I'm more shocked that the absolutely atrocious Guardians of the Galaxy is near the top. Goes to show how significant are these pools. As for Returnal, haven't played it yet but it looks like it deserves the win, or a top place at least. But GotG as one of the top shooters??? Lmao

When you remind them that their lastest title is a failure of a colossal proportion, "butthurt", "but over 20M downloads" or "but 9/10" is what they've been hiding behind since launch. They have zero argument against the criticism. Even if they wanted to, they simply can't defend this game. A god damn crew of monkeys could've made a better game. Its comical.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy game is really good, the game totally blows the movie versions out of the park, I'd recommend you give it a try...I think it's still on Game Pass? It did won an actual award from the VGA back in 2021. The game is kinda demanding on PC with the RT reflection.
No doubt Halo: Infinite's campaign is great. It gave me Combat Evolved feel, just wish 343 could have done better.
@davillain: I played and finished GotG. Absolutely hated the chatter, it was not badly written but it was way too much, near unbearable for my taste.
But strictly as a shooter, gameplay wise, mediocre game imo. I can see how some might enjoy the adventure but from a gameplay perspective I completely disagree it being a top shooter.

Halo 5 multi is generally regarded as one of the best. The main reason why the Halo community has been so critical of Infinite's multi is because the season content pales in comparison to Halo 5.

Its not one of the best. Its one of the most divisive, if not the most divisive in the whole series. Yes, some liked the faster paced Call of Duty gameplay, but this is Halo, so don't expect many to be into it.
