Not a month I would complain about, not having played those games despite their age. ATVs and Witcher are particularly appealing for me.

However, PS+ in January has the Swapper, so it wins automatically.

Nice, I wanna try Witcher 2 before the next one comes out and dang D4 is pretty new so I gladly take that. GwG for Xbox One seem to be newer or new games. Add 2 more games to the long list of 360 games you could keep forever even after your sub expires. Someone should list a comparison of how many games you keep that's offered even when the sub expires. It would probably look like this: GwG = lots, PS+ = none. Also there's free DLC for D4 floating around, looking forward to play them. Also if you don't have Gold right now, free trials can unlock these deals. So you could get these deals really free with free trials.

Highly recommend D4 simply based on it's quirkiness.

It's only one new game, but D4 isn't bad (it's not great, but not bad), resting at a 77/100 at metacritic...but I wish they would step it up. D4 marks the 10th game for Xbone GWG. Does D4 even work for the majority of Kinectless Xbone buyers out there? I believe it does, but it's clumsy with a controller, but I'm not certain. The 360 games? I own 2011's Witcher 2 on PC and 360, but that's a nice title. I don't care for racer games (MX whatever), but apparently 2011's MX is terrible with a 63/100 metascore. So one stinker and one great title for 360. A single average hit or miss game for Xbone, hopefully I like it. D4 does seem to be better with or require Kinect to work properly, so the majority of Xbone Kinectless buyers should beware (link to thread about D4 issues).

That is actually really good, for 7th gen Xbox fans at least.

No, XBL have taken six months off giving 2 games for Xbone, they started with that intent and promised two free games back in June...but they moved away the last six months to one new GWG game a month. I've downloaded every title and this is the 10th Xbone GWG title. They even started late in June and at this rate it's going to be a long 2015.

I'm worried Sony might follow suit if this 'withholding and saving money per month' move is successful.

D4 I have some friends that bought it when it was on sale. They told me mixed things (77/100), so I'm glad it's a GWG freebie at least.

Can D4 players give us their thoughts on the game? I hear it's sold not so well and word of mouth always helps. In fact, I recently heard that " word of mouth" is the biggest seller of all. It looks really cool.

I agree, if any D4 players want, give their thoughts on the title. Here's a couple starter questions:

Is D4 a good game without Kinect? I have a Kinect but I read there are more Xbones sold without Kinect so will those gamers be able to enjoy D4 sans Kinect? I read it works with a controller, but it's clumsy.

Happy I didn't bite the bullet on d4. It's high up on my wish list so great timing for me. Nice selection on 360 if anyone hasn't played Witcher 2.

lol at the damage control over seeing what Xbox owners get to own. Don't be so mad that Microsoft gives its fanbase games to own but PS+ is nothing but a really bad version of gamefly. Enjoy renting a couple old or indie games for each Sony system. Xbox owners pay around $5 to own these games but a PS+ owners pays around the same amount to rent games for the month. Like I said before PS+ is a crappy version of Gamefly, at least when renting games from Gamefly you get games from all systems and even new releases but renting games from Sony you have no choice and it is normally indie games or crap games no one cares about. Talk about sucker Sony fanboys not only are you not able to keep the games but it is not even close to the best rental service, lol keep defending PS+ though.

He's talking about Xbone exclusive "D4". Xbone XBLG subscribers downloading "D4" do not get to own GWG games or D4. I know, I own every single GWG game for both 360 and Xbone. This is the third time you've been corrected about this misinformation you continue to lie about and post in various threads (EXAMPLE 1 and EXAMPLE 2 LINKS).

I'm not sure if you are actively trying to mislead posters or just don't pay attention to the world around you (and what you post about), but Xbone GWG games work the same way as PS+. You stop subbing, you lose the games. Based on the fact you've been corrected about this various times, it seems to me you are actively trying to mislead users which is a no-no.

Your comparison to gamefly would apply to Xbone GWG XBLG ($60 a year) and PS+ ($50 a year), but honestly, it's a terrible comparison since Gamefly annually ($191.40 - $443.40 a year) is way more expensive than either PS+ or XBLG.

1. PS+ = $50 a year

2. XBLG = $60 a year

Gamefly =

1. $191.40 a year (1 game)

2. $275.40 a year (2 games)

3. $359.40 a year (3 games)

4. $443.40 a year (4 games)

You know what? You were on topic, you trolled a little bit (butthurt, laugh at posts, and weirdo comments aside), but you actually tried to answer so it's all good. First of all, I didn't go through your history, I went through mine. I was in those two other threads where you posted inaccurately about GwG. For all I know, you've been wrong about GwG 10 times in the few months, but I only know about three times due to my history in being in those threads. They both happened a week ago after all.

Secondly, I agree that Gamefly can be awesome for renters. I think that opinion you have about Gamefly is fine, BUT there is one change that should be noted. You can't go and play January's game in March though if you sent in those games for new games. Still, Gamefly is nice for renters...my main point about Gamefly is there is a super severe price hike (approx. $200-$450 annually) when comparing PS+ ($50) and Xbone's GwG ($60). Considering Gamefly is 4x-9x more expensive, it should have way better perks (ex: bicycle price vs. car price for instance). PS+, XBLG, and Gamefly have their own sets of discounts as well, Gamefly offers good deals on their games they rent to you.

I see now you acknowledge Xbone's GwG which was my main point. If Gamefly comparisons are made, it would apply to Xbone XBLG and PS+, but there is the nagging issue of price to consider. You get more with Gamefly, but at a much heavier cost.

Gamefly is also great for buyers, because you can get $10 off brand new releases you rent on day one when you choose the "keep it" option in your queue. That's pretty significant.
