You have to stick the wiimote in the guitar? uhh why o.ODoctorBunny
I haven't read the article yet, but the Wiimote acts as a power supply since the guitar is wireless, according to memory.

It's to make the Guitar use the Wiimote capabilities/batteries instead of having to make a full-priced guitar. It's a good thing, because it makes the guitar cheaper for Wii owners.
And adds rumble, and takes care of the motion...
Screenshots are iffy, I hope this game doesn't look identical to the PS2 one, im only saying this because its the only thing im unsure about. I know what the online play will feature, I know the songs announced, I know how the game goes, and yes im being a graphics whore, graphics don't mean much in a game like GH, but I just don't want developers to be lazy. But it seems Neversoft is trying to make the Wii version unique.goodlay
No it was posted today on IGN it can't be that oldSynchro456I hear the new late standard is at a couple milliseconds.
This sounds kinda cool:
The second feature? The Wii Remote speaker is used for the game's "squelch" when you miss a note. Hearing it come from your guitar makes two player co-op and two player competition a bit more fun since you can easily tell which player's the one that's screwing up the notes - if player one misses a few notes, the "squelch" will come from his guitar and not player two's. Players can bring the squelching back to the television speaker by turning off the remote's speakers - since the mis-note sound effect is integral to the game, it will recognize if you've kicked off your Wiimote speakers and send the sound back to the main audio output.
I wonder if the Wii is going to end up with the best verison because of the Wiimote.
Rumble O_o, and it will probably be the cheapest version, *changes mind about picking up the 360 version and is now getting the wii version*
why do people buy these casual games?
i hate gh , ill be glad the day they stop producing them.

Haha... you remind me of me one month ago :P... I thought it was utter casual garbage. I walked into an EBgames one day and saw GHII there, no one was playing it. I played it once before but I did so bad I put it down, I never gave it a real shot. Well this time I did. I walked over and said to myself "What is this junk?..."... 10 minutes later I spent $100 on the guitar and game.
Moral of the story? Try those casual games you look down upon, some of them are actually popular for a reason. Remember, no one is too 1337 to play a "casual" game. If that's the case everyone stay away from Madden, GH, DDR, Halo, GTA, Gears of War, Super Smash Bros., and a lot more big name great titles.

i have a guitar and i can feel the vibration when i hit it hard...
i think the rumble can be a good or bad thing...it depends on the implementation.

Another take: Don't knock it till you try it.
Nice to hear that they're using Wiimote's speaker for screw-up noises...:P
[QUOTE="ginglejangle"]ills tick with the ps3 or 360 version thank you.HarlockJC
Why? You don't need graphics for GH. And the Wii version sounds like it going to have the best guitar.
but i doubt the online is going to be good....or better then 360's and ps3's.

You may be right, I don't play many games online. Due to the fact that I normally lose. They said there will be online but they are not saying what.

quiet fanboy. GH is a casual AND hardcore game. IT's excellent.
And meh, i'm still getting 360 version.

LOL, yeah I suppose them making a game you don't like must have such a huge impact on your life. I mean, who wants other people enjoying something you don't?
Does it make you feel left out or is there some other inane reason for your hatered?
