Well we could point to the strong sales of titles like NSMB DS, Zelda, Mario Kart etc as well as the fantastic sales of crap like Hannah Montana and Brain Age and the continuing increase in developer support for the platform

DS software sales are fantastic, there are numerous titles on the system that have PWNED everything on the "software monster" that is the 360, developer support is increasing on a daily basis

It's more than enough to disprove the statistic. Pokemon D/P sold 3.6 miliion copies in the USA in 2007. That's 100k behind Halo 3

DS software sales have been strong in the USA with many big name games doing well (Zelda again comes to mind but FF12 revenant wings did pretty well also).

Now if 90% of DS owners "pirate their games", why is software selling so well? Did they give up? did they all simultaneously break their R4's? Do they only pirate one game because any more than that "wouldn't be right"?
