Yeah,
All and All, the game was not quite what I was expecting but with that said I may still have a look at the DLC as it was the primary reason for me opting for the 360 version.
I cared a little when I thought they were holding back pieces of the original story to release them again, but now with the rumors of it being a totally different character with a new story, I would have a tough time caring less. GTAIV was a bit of a disappointment to me (only because I hold the series to incredibly high standards), DLC doesn't exactly get me in a froth.
If you told me the DLC would star Tommy Vercetti and take place in a new-gen Vice City, then I might have to make me some downloads and buy another copy of GTA. As it stands right now, meh.
They better add back in bikes, skate parks, buying property and other **** with the DLC!SSCyborg
Not gonna happen. Gonna be some tacked-on nonsense with a story that wouldn't be good enough for a PSP GTA, some useless new items, weapons, clothing, cars, anything they left out of the original game. I hope it was worth $50 mill, MS.
I suspect by the time the DLC even comes out people will have moved on to better things, look at the lineup we have from now until Xmas. All the EA sports titles, The Force Unleashed, LittleBigPlanet, Mercenaries 2, plus about 50 other top calibre titles.

You know this because you work for Rockstar or just a jealous cow...

How many ban-dodging fanboy accounts does it take to stink up three threads simultaneously? Answer: ONE!
Look into my posting history, I have been knocking GTAIV for ages. I loved the game and still gave it a 10 upon initial playthrough, but I have no desire to play it again. It has no single-player replay value, nothing to do when the game ends but go on sprees. Even 100% completion gets you a crap reward (unlimited ammo? That's IT?!?) The gameplay is tight, the production values are the best they have been, but the stuff that made GTA great last-gen that let us overlook the shoddy gameplay and crap production values is mysteriously absent.
Your gif is really, really original, by the way.

Wow, I seem to recall you being critical because I posted in an earlier thread that this game needed exactly this.
I know, and that's what reminded me why I hadn't touched GTA4 since my first playthrough. I used to waste hours just biking around the cities.
And what? to the bolded part
