Camping for 3 days to play titles such as Killzone, Knack and a bunch or multiplats that you can play on PC... not for me. Not saying PS4 will not be good, but the great games are not launch titles.

Maybe when some good games come out I'll buy one and hope it will be cheaper too. Never understood why people go to midnight launches.

I was raised to be a child of both worlds, having been raised with a playstation/xbox and a PC to play with. Those who undervalue the performance, and abilities of PC gaming truly undermine, or at least do not fully understand the technology that PC gaming has. I love my Xbox, but at the end of the day, I know it's limitations, as well as the Playstation. Regardless, to each their own.

Well to be the first to have something is a big draw... and to get out of the house and mingle with like-minded individuals is a plus. I won't be camping out... I'm too old for that ****. But I will be going to get in line a few hours early, so as to be closer to the front of the line, rather than the back.

Hermits are jealous that they have no reason to be camping outside a store? Must get boring to play the same graphics for 8 years while pc had a steady improvement during that time.

Anyways, instead of camping, this guy could get a job with which he could buy a pc now and get a ps4 when theyre more easily available. Plus, since the hardware isnt cutting edge I think the availability will be much higher during the launch window than last gen. This dude is totally wasting his time.

I kind of always wondered how this camping out thing works... what do they take the tent down when the time gets near? Do they have more than one person, and if so do the other people NOT want the console? Why not just have pre-ordered the damn thing? I'll have mine after waiting for about an hour at the midnight release...

For the X1 all you have to do is walk inside any retail store and ask for one... they will be sitting on the shelves...

I camped out for a 360 and had a blast. Beer, liquor, barbecue. It wasn't much different than tail gating. I also made over half the money to pay for my console from selling dogs, brats and burgers to unprepared campers in the freezing cold. At first I was just making them for me and my friends. Then others wanted to buy them so we made a couple trips to the store to buy more. Even regular Best Buy customers and employees were buying them at $2 to $4 each.

If they don't have capable PCs then it would be. But if you only have a PS4 then you can get AC IV and BF4 for it too making it a little less absurd

My brother and I had a ton of fun camping out for the PS3. We bought one each and sold one on ebay for $1200 day one. basically waited in line for a $600 console for free. worth it if you ask me.
