I was just wondering, is the Wii version of Goldeneye the same as the N64 version but updated? Or is Goldeneye Wii an entire new game since it's using the latest Bond?

Whats the matter? From what i've seen its a pretey decent looking Wii game...

Seriously? The game looks ugly as sin and there is no excuse for that. It isn't "good" even by the Wii's standards...

A much better looking game that isn't "Rainbow Fairyland" or whatever. I know Goldeneye is still early in development but it is still fugly.

In terms of comparisons, the Wii version looks way better.

Those sceenshots do look damn ugly, though. I hope they improve.

does it really matter? really? People who play Goldeneye do not play it for the graphics. The N64 version has looked ugly as sin for years now, it still doesn't put me off playing the occasional multiplayer game with friends. Anybody expecting revolutionary graphics from the remake are missing the point.

Here's the important question: Is it a downloadable game, or a full price boxed game?

For what it's worth, it's still a Wii game. So my thoughts on decent and good looking is tough to voice since I'm a PC gamer. :P

But even in terms of Wii games, it's really ugly. Reminds me of when I played Medal of Honor: Heroes 2.

Wow anybody who says "slightly better" needs to re-watch that video. The games at the least are one generation apart in terms of tech. The Wii isn't the most powerful thing on the market but it holds up way better than the N64 in every single way.

The NEw Goldeneye looks way better than the Original version.

They don't. I'm still getting the game regaurdless of how "crappy" it looks. (honestly it looks fine by me.)

i pretty sure goldeneye wii is trying to keep some of the graphic style of n64 for nostalgia factor.

C'mon dude, thats not fair. Its Retro. Their games are up there with the very best.

what I'm more interested in is the fact that its not a remake, Its a reboot.
They are taking the original game and all most completely rebooting it.

Its not peirce brosnan its the one latest bond the guy from casino royale and they are pushing it up in time frame so its taing place in 2010, changing guns, using old enviorments but putting new ones in the game.

I know ive been waiting for Half-Life source for a few years now. They give us a few pics every 6 months and thats it.
