Games ppl love on YOUR fav system you can't stand?

Or really don't like or could care less for?

Mine would be Ratchet and Clank and Valkyrie Chronicles, man are these series praised by fans of playstation and I played them and it literally hurt trying to get into them lol.

No disrespect to anyone who loves these games, even non PS fans, because everyone has their own opinions but they were just bad to me, and I am a fan on the system/s. Does anyone else have similar opinions?

NOTE: for this discussion, meta game score is not a prerequisite for a game nomination only praise/love of game or franchise.

So what are the games that you loathe on your favorite system that everybody else praises or seem to love?

inB4 fakeboys claiming systems they hate as their fav for this discussion.

I don't hate any popular game on the N64 or GC though.

On PS3 it's defintiely Uncharted 2

On Wii U it's definitely Mario Kart 8

Both of these games are widely considered the best on these systems. Both of these games seem to laugh in the face of meaningful player interaction.

Not a fanboy but play on 360 and Xbox One. Games I didn't like or care for; Mass Effect, pretty much any Gears of War after the first one. Forza, but I do enjoy Forza Horizon. Not into Fable, Too Human, or Viva Piñata.

There are really a lot of popular games I'm just not into especially on here, any Final Fanasy game, Shemmue, all Weeaboo games and Jrpgs in general. Movie games, and most single player only type games. It's all about multiplayer and the community experience for me!

World of Warcraft. It was beyond dull

For me and for the 360 it was the game of choice was Call of Duty. When I played on the PS2 it was FFX. Don't currently have one for the Xbox One, N64 or DS. Oh and for PC it is all the MOBAs, yes I said it all of them.

For PC, anything by Crytek. Didn't like Far Cry, thought Crysis was mediocre.

For PC - Dota 2 and CSGO.

I thought Forza Horizon 2 was a let down: from obligatory road trips - making jumping from one championship to the other a tedious grind - to less varied terrains.

Call of Duty:Advanced Warfare was a bit of a downer.I thought it would be better then it was.So was the DLC,in witch I wish I have never gotten the season pass.By the way,it was on the Xbox One.

PC: Any Bethesda game, specifically Morrowind which some consider to be the best game they made.

My favorite console is probably the PS2 and I thought the God of War games were pretty shit. Fantastic presentation, dull as **** gameplay.

Last gen, PS3 was my favorite console. I have to say that Resistance: Fall of Man was pretty bad. No doubt in my mind the game was only praised because the PS3 had nothing to play at the time.

My favorite of the 3 companies is Nintendo and I can't see how people play Animal Crossing without dying of boredom. After you decorate your house in Animal Crossing, the game starts to suck pretty hard.

I don't really hate any games but I suppose it would be Moba's just on virtue that they're everywhere and just lack imagination, although that's more of a genre.

I owned All playstations consoles, so it had to be The Last of Us, Heavy Rain, the Uncharted Series, Beyond 2 Souls, Ratchet and Clank series, Gran Turismo series, Infamous, Killzone, Resistance

On Super Nintendo, easily Star Fox. I wanted to believe that the game was cool looking AND fun to play... Sadly it's really kinda neither.

League of Legends and MOBAS in general on PC, i simply dont get them, they're bland and boring.

I don't hate anything on the DC or Genesis.

I don't like any of the games.

For me this is what makes Xbox and Playstation different.

I would rather play RPG and Single player games 80% of the time over multiplayer games.

Of current-ish systems, I suppose God of War. Uncharted's up there too, although I definitely CAN stand it, but it's very far from the mindblowing experience for me. Others I've found underwelming are the "bro overload" stuff (Gears of War etc), which generally have a tough time drawing me in. Bear in mind, this is totally personal preference, of course - nothing against those who love God or Gears of War or UC. But these are the closest things I have that fit the criteria in the OP - games people rave about for a system I love, yet it's far far down my list of favs

PS3 - Didn't really like Nier, despite it's cult-like acclaim. Fantastic soundtrack that I've listened to several times but the gameplay failed to grab me in any meaningful way.

On PC Dear Esther bored me to tears.

I can't stand that game. Don't know why people think it's great.

I also think Ratchet and Clank is pretty mediocre. They are okay but they don't excel in any way other than visuals.

Anything from Telltale. Dire graphics and literally zero gameplay and their anti-gaming disease has now spread from my 'fave' system (PC) to consoles.

Couldn't care less for Fallout, Half Life, Halo, CoD, AssCreed and all indies.

COD. I don't necessarily hate it but I can do without it for another 5 years easily.

For me I'd say Yakuza (just seems like a shenmue rip off) and LBP, can't get into that crate share mumbo jumbo I just don't see the attraction

I love the PC, but I strongly dislike,

• MOBAs: Not my genre, too little map variety, toxic community, boring gameplay, I like real RTS
• Five Nights at Freddies: 4 games in less than a year, jumpscares ftl
• Path of Exile: A convoluted passive skill tree does not make up for a pass
• NuXCOM: Because at least the originals provided you with the tools to mitigate bad RNG somewhat.
• Bethesda Games (Unmodded at least): Quality, not quantity. Big swimming pools of piss does not make for a compelling place to swim.
• BioWare games: Bad gameplay, copy paste storylines, hamfisted writing.
• MineCraft clones: Do I even need a reason?
• Survival Sandbox games: They were fun for a little while, but when the whole indie market flooded games like this, I was like, no!
• Pretty much any game made by Valve: I like good gunplay in my shooters, thanks.
• Zombie Survival games: Zombies are already bad as it is, zombies+survival sandbox games? Ugh...
• Anything trying to latch onto DayZ's success: It needs to be mentioned twice.
• Clicker Heroes: I like some interactivity in my games, thank you very much
• TERA: HP Bloat in an action game? Pass
• Star Wars: The Old Republic: Floaty mechanics, bland bosses, poor man's WoW
• Payday 2: 50 euros worth of DLC
• Borelands 2: AKA Bullet Sponge: The Game
• BioShock Infinite: I already have a very low tolerence for Quantum Woo. I absolutely hated 999 calling it one of the worst stories I have witnessed in ages, this was just as offensive.

Red Faction Guerilla and Just Cause. I get why people seem to like them, but it looks they could get boring/repetitive after awhile.

Gotta be gears of war. The characters are so bro'd out that you feel like an asshole just playing it. With the stupidly big feet and the jerkoff cigarette voice for the main character. It's a homoerotic experience for derps to get off to when they're too afraid to come out of the closet.

PC: half life 2---Oh great, another shooter (granted I never played half life 1--could be the cause of the dislike)

PS: God of War---Pretty graphics, that's about it.

Xbox: Gears of War---never clicked with me, it just seems like whack-a-mole. wait behind cover until enemy pops their head out and shoot your no-recoil gun that sounds like a toy gun.

Nintendo: super smash brothers---seems like a half-assed fighting game. never could get into the combat.

Valkyria Chronicles is no longer PS exclusive.
