Game you have got/will get the most play time from (this gen)

What game have you played the most this gen, and what game coming out do you think you will play the most, and will that game overtake the playtime from the current game? lol, I was just thinking about this, because Diablo III and Battlefield 3 are coming :P.

Bad Company 2

Coming up:

Battlefield 3

Diablo III (I am sure this will win, as they come out much less often and its freakin Diablo!)

Multiplayer? I guess I can see that, as GTA is fun to screw around in, I just personally find it far more boring than San Andreas, but I have had a lot of fun in Co-op no doubt. It is so much fun hopping on a bike with your buddy and hitting crazy jumps. I landed a sweet backflip with the cops chasing me :P.

Oh and its possible SSX will rank right up there for playtime, as well as Uncharted 3, but I highly doubt either will even come close to Battlefield 3 and especially Diablo III.

NBA 2K11

Well I played WoW for over 6 years if you consider this gen. Otherwise I have put alot of time in BC2 on both xbox and now PC. AutoPilotOn

I think it counts as this gen since they have been updating it many times so its not like you are playing Diablo II still....like I am tempted to do right now :P.

Most played this gen is Monster Hunter 3.

I'll play just as much if not more MHP3.

Modern Warfare 2 so far. Multiplayer is a blast.

Probably Halo 3. Would have been Reach, I'm sure, but my xbox red ringed awhile back. Strangely, within the last week, it started working again....so perhaps Reach.

Halo 3 is my most played game this gen and Gears 2 my second. Not sure how much time I'll put into Gears 3 but it will probably be a lot.

I have over a year in WoW (In actual played game. Worth it? Hell yeah.)

Next would be Battlefield 2. Then Counter Strike Source. Played both of those games so much when I got my first gaming PC. Also spent a lot of time playing Crysis and FEAR 1. Lately I've been spending a lot of time playing Bad Company 2 though.

Currently it´s F1 2010 by a long shot,along with Starcraft 2 and Hearts of Iron 3.

As far as upcoming games go,Diablo 3 has the biggest potential to suck me in,as well as Arma 3 and maybe Hawken.

MAG. Just racked up a 66 kill count on domination. Woo hoo !

Either Final Fantasy XIII or Super Street Fighter 4. Over 120 hours in each and I've still got a lot to do in both games. I may have invested more time into Naruto: Rise of a Ninja but that game doesn't have a timer to check how long you've played it. I know I played it more intensely and over a larger span of time than I've played SSF4 though.

Probably Halo 3. I played over 1000 matches in that game.

The only two games I know that have broken over 100 hours from me this gen were The Conduit and Smash Bros. Brawl.

Dmc4, even if it was a dissapointment, I still and continue logging 1152 hours into it lol. It basically amounts to 47/8 days played.

mw2 - around 360 hours (still play it to this day.. infact last night..so much fun)

pokemon diamond - 555+ hours

new super mario bros - 100 + hours

ff13 - 70+ hours yakuza 3 - 70+ hours

3d dot game heroes - 60+ hours

depends of if halo HD is for real. if so, it'll be that. if not....I guess reach........but I still play halo PC by far the most. (5000 hours or so)

oh my gosh. I bought the collection for PS2 and bought 4 for PC. Played DMC1 for a few hours and stopped. Its good, but it just doesnt hook me. I really enjoyed 2 many years ago when I was borrowing a buddies PS2, and apparently thats the worst one :P. 3 looked awesome, although I have not played it. I love the style, and it makes me want to play the games, but they just feel so much more repetitive (at least 1 does) then a game like God of War does.

The problem with DMC4 is it's half a game. And they tried to have Nero replace Dante.

This resulted in Dante only having 3 weapons and 3 guns, whereas he has 5 of each in 3. Also, Nero doesn't feel like a complete character.

Also, taking out the My Dante system (where you could chose any 2 weapons and any 2 guns) seemed to hurt a bit of the flow. Switching between 3 weapons worked with Virgil, because he only had one "gun", which allowed him to switch in different directions between his weapons. Having to go through 3 with only one button in DMC4 is tedious.

Call of Duty 4 unless WoW counts. I'm sure I've logged over a year of played time into WoW since it came out, and I poured 400+ hours into Call of Duty 4 the summer after it came out.

I care about story in games, so I want to play whatever makes sense first. That said, DMC doesnt seem to have too much of a story, which dissapoints me :( lol. Especially since the atmosphere and style is so cool. I love the Demon/Angel theme, like in Diablo.

for a single game, L4D 2, 206 hours and counting.

Easily Left 4 Dead and The Rock Band Series. I went for a year where the only two games I really played were L4D and RB2.

The only game this gen I see competing with those two is MVC3 which is the first fighter I have truely felt the need to try and get a bit competitive in.

Team Fortress 2, and after that idk...not too many life-sucking games this gen, and I wonder if that isn't such a bad thing after all.:P
