Star Wars Jedi Academy 2 - Dark side ending was the perfect setup for a sequel and to get Kyle back in the driver's seat to go after his Padawan turned Sith Lord following the death of Rosh at their hands.
Sleeping Dogs 2 - Doesn't even have to be a direct sequel to the first game but just another game in that same design where you're undercover and having to decide how far to go to maintain your cover or do you truly go over to being a crime lord as things progress and you claim through the ranks.
Custom Robo 3 - Loved this series back in its glory days but after the Gamecube/DS era it pretty much vanished. Single player campaign could use a nice boost in terms of length and quality while being able to take multi-player online with an expanded selection of parts could make for a great experience that offers a ton of customization.
Kengo 3 - Stellar games back on the PS2 if you were into more slow boil experiences that had you starting as a new student in a dojo of your choosing to learn various sword fighting techniques. Work your way up to becoming your master's protégé, taking part in life or death battles, and eventually running your own dojo so you can train others while developing your own style and techniques. So much more could be done to expand upon this and the various schools as well as updating the combat.
Dragon Ball Z Budokai 4 - My favorite fighter by far for DBZ and really wish that style had been continued instead of moving into the more Xenoverse style arena combat and the heavy combo team based mechanics of FighterZ. With Super and the new films there is a lot of potential to mine and expand that original formula which really hit its peak with Budokai 3. Did a great job of selling that sense of power and raising your own fighter to throw down with your friends.
