Looks like another AAA indie coming to the Vita. I'm very excited for this because I would love to have more tactics games on Vita (I hope Natural Doctrine turns out great). Here is the news bite for Frozen Synapse Prime:

Frozen Synapse Prime (formerly known as Frozen Synapse: Tactics) is coming to Vita on 23rd September in North America and the following day in Europe, co-developer Double Eleven
has announced.

The turn-based strategy game is also releasing its soundtrack on PSN, both on its own and bundled with the game.

This latest entry in the Frozen Synapse series is co-developed by the original Frozen Synapse developer Mode 7. It will feature asynchronous multiplayer and a single-player campaign consisting of over 40 missions. Get a look at its gameplay in its new release date trailer below.

Do we really need a thread for every indie vita port that gets announced?

Turn based strategy :(

I might wait for a sale as I usually do with indies, or at least word of mouth strong enough that I buy it right away like Rogue Legacy.

Turn based strategy goodness.

It's worth giving a shot. I don't believe in the whole idea that there are certain genres people just don't like. You just need to find a good one.

And here's a good one. It'll do considering Nintendo won't make another Advance Wars, and I don't think Civilization Beyond Earth is coming to either PS Vita or 3DS.

GOAT Strategy game.

Excellent 'play by mail' multiplayer for the 3 or so people that will probably buy this on Vita. hue!

Eh there is definitely a people don't like certain genres. What's more likely is someone enjoying a game in the genre, where the game is built up in a way for people who aren't in to that genre. For instance like Criterion racing games being for people who don't like actual racing games, or musuo trash being for people who don't like beat-em ups.
