I, for one am pretty excited about it. My kids hog the game on ps4 and this will give me a chance to get good and show them up.

@TheEroica: Too bad the PS4 won't support Cross-Play with other consoles, so you'll have to play with your kids if you have the PC or iOS version.

now this is a game i want to try. with motion controls. didnt feel like trying it on PC. i want to own fellow switchers :P

Played it on PC. Took me about 6 hours to get bored of it, and I don't feel like playing it again. Not even with with worse aim and graphics. :P

If they can get the frame rate nailed down it should do OK...

I’m a PUBG guy, but I’m down for anything on Switch. I’m not big on Fortnites gunplay or building, but I would give it another shot on switch no doubt.

If they manage to get a bundle? or a special edition of the Switch with fortnite it could be something huge between kids.

These battle royale games get boring quickly. Don't get what all of the hoopla is about.

@SolidGame_basic: it's a social game.... I didn't get it either until I watched my kids play it... They don't think the way I do, where Im white knuckle sweating because I want to win...

They want to buddy up with a friend, find legendary weapons, crack jokes and dance in front of eachother... Winning is waaaaaay down the rope in a distant 5th or 6th most important thing...

The crazy thing is they actually do win from time to time, and my ten year old is a master builder in that game... I almost can't believe how fast he can put up a tower, or stop damage mid fight with a quick build.

I'm gonna git good on switch though.

@TheEroica: You should have gotten an Xbox or play on the PC, if Fortnite is cross-play, you can play with your kids

It was always on the cards it would be foolish to not put it on the switch when its flying off the shelves in amazing fashion.

Not really, the community with Fortnite will be bigger and anyone can play Fortnite on the Go and have friends or family stay at home and cross-play

Fortnite is over-rated and so is all battle royales.

Ha here and on twitter etc the nintendo fanboys once again bash a game that could really help their community grow. How sad.

@FireEmblem_Man: first thing I thought when I saw the announcement... I have a ps4 which means I have the gimped version of fortnite, because Sony is afraid the other communities are better.

@TheEroica: ps4 will probably have cross play with switch, as it already does with pc and mobile. They just arent allowing xbox users to join.

Give it six or seven months. This one seems to be burning too bright too fast.

I'm not really interested in playing it unless it has exclusive Nintendo single player content like a zombies mode, but I could see the significance in having it on Switch. The more games on Switch, the merrier.
